Loading screen with appearance problem

Another variant of the loading screens that are stuck or that take a long time is the case where the loading gets stuck, but there are still animations and you can still access the Xbox Dashboard or the PS3 / PS4 XMB. In these cases it is due to a problem with the place of appearance of your character in the world.

To fix it, do the following:

• Log into the Rockstar Games Social Club .
• Select Settings from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner.

• Unlink the gamertag or PSN ID that you linked to this Social Club account.
• Log in with the character giving you trouble and set your last known location as the spawn location.
• Re-link the gamertag or PSN ID you want to link to this Social Club account.

If after using the last known location your character does not load, please unlink the gamertag or PSN ID from your Social Club account. After that load the GTA V Story mode and have a friend send you an invitation to play Online. Complete the activity and you will appear outside the garage.

Trick to reduce loading times (PC only)

A player in the GTA Online community named t0st has discovered a way to reduce load times by 70% simply by modifying the game code. It should be noted that this cheat is only possible for those who play GTA Online on a computer . On the other hand, modifying the code does not bring any kind of danger to your game or problems related to bans by Rockstar.

• Rebuild Database –Scans the drive and creates a new database with all the content. This operation can take a long time depending on the type and amount of data.

This will not negatively affect your saves or progress in GTA. If the above troubleshooting does not work for you, you may need to reinstall GTA V. After doing so, if your problem persists, it may be due to a problem with your save data, so it is recommended to make a backup of the same ones and after deleting the originals, start the game again to see if it works well.

Xbox troubleshooting

• If you play on Xbox consoles, try clearing the system cache .
• Turn off the console by pressing and holding the Xbox button for about ten seconds(the console will turn off with a different beep than normal).
• Wait another ten secondswhile the console shuts down completely, and then turn the console back on.
