Essential Gems (or Primogens, in English) are very valuable items in Genshin Impact , used as currency to acquire rare items, such as Fates, for example. Check out the best ways to get Essential Gems with the tips below!
Note that Essential Gems are not the rarest currencies in the game, but they are certainly among the most useful.
- Log in to the game every day
The easiest and most guaranteed way to get Essential Gems is by logging in every day to Genshin Impact . On the third consecutive day you log in, you will receive 100 Essential Gems. On the seventh day, you receive another 200 Essential Gems.
- Complete missions and challenges
Among the rewards for completing quests and daily challenges is a small amount of Essential Gems.
At some point in your progression, you’ll unlock the Adventurer’s Handbook. It is a book with several missions. When you complete all the tasks in a page or chapter of the Handbook, you will receive a great reward that always comes with Essential Gems.
- Complete dungeons
Upon reaching adventurer level 12 , you will unlock your first dungeon. The first time you complete this dungeon, you’ll receive various rewards, including, of course, Essential Gems.
Every three levels after adventurer level 12, you’ll unlock a new dungeon. Complete the dungeon to earn more Essential Gems.
- Buy with real money
If you don’t want to wait, you can buy Essential Gems with real money. To do this, buy Genesis Crystals from the in-game store – go to the Menu and click on Pray.
In the lower corner of the screen there is an icon with a four-pointed star and a (+) on the side to transform Genesis Crystals into Essential Gems. If you don’t have these Crystals, when you click you will receive the following message:
