  2. Enter cmd in Run’s Open box, and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter hotkey.
  3. Type this command in the prompt window:

    • Press the Enter key .
  4. Then start the SFC scan by entering sfc / scannow and pressing Enter.

2. Run a CHKDSK scan

Some users may need to run a CHKDSK (Check Disk) scan to fix error 0x0000000C. To do this, open the command prompt as administrator as described in the first resolution.

Then enter chkdsk c: / f in the prompt window and hit the Enter key.

3. Update device drivers

BSOD errors often belong to newly installed third-party hardware device drivers. Therefore, updating device drivers with driver update software is one of the most likely solutions for error 0x0000000C. For that, download Driver Booster 7 by clicking Free Download on its website.

When you run Driver Booster 7 , it will start scanning automatically. That scan will show a list of devices with outdated, missing, faulty, or incompatible drivers. Select all the device checkboxes there and click the Update Now button .

4. Check for Windows 10 updates

As updates extend the Windows 10 driver database, make sure your platform is fully up to date.

  1. Press Windows key + S keyboard shortcut for the search utility.
  2. Enter updates as the search keyword.
  3. Click Check for Updates to open the Settings tab shown directly below.
  4. Press the Check for Updates button to download available updates.

5. Disable Remote Desktop connections

The blue screen itself is not bad, but it indicates that your PC is facing fatal system errors.
