Everyone is waiting patiently for Fortnite to finally get the cars to arrive through a new limited-time mode. We know that update 2.78 in Epic Games’ battle royale title will include vehicles. Gamers have been waiting for this particular patch for a long time as vehicle driving is one of the most fun things to do in the game. How can you find cars in Fortnite and how can you use them for victory as soon as the mode starts?
For starters, cars will be available in Fortnite through a limited-time mode. This means that this addition is only for a few weeks. During that time, you will be able to throw yourself into a limited time game that will allow you to visit gas stations and find cars that you can drive across the map. Here are all the gas station locations you will want to visit to get a car in Fortnite:
Remember that the cars are running out of gas, so you may want to refuel a couple of times if you intend to use it throughout the game.
In addition to the limited time car mode in Fortnite, the 13.30 update includes significant map changes. The water slowly subsides, bringing Pleasant Park and Craggy Cliffs back. Here are some bug fixes also included in the patch:
- Hot tubs are temporarily disabled, so get ready to fly through the air again.
- The glider slows down after players have redeployed in certain situations.
- The XP bar is visually flawed during matches, causing players to think about leveling up even when they are not.
- Ocean’s Ocean Bottomless Jug cannot be picked up while reloading if dropped by another player.
- Added a workaround to an issue with supply dropping in the Authority location not opening after players search for them. If you shoot it now, it should open, says Epic.
- Replaced a broken “collect floating rings from steam stacks” challenge with a basic “look for ammo boxes in Fortilla” challenge. The problem was evidently more present on PCs with lower settings.
- Black rectangles that appear behind the player character when turning in the storm.
- An issue with gliding, including Jules’ LaunchPad or Glider Gun, not working around the Authority.
We are still waiting for the cars to become available in Fortnite and it will most likely happen later today. You have time to find the perfect routes to easily get to gas stations until that happens.
