Valorant’s first anniversary is just around the corner, and while Riot’s post-launch support so far has been pretty impressive, we’re still playing a pool of cards of just five players. However, a new map is expected to finally be released in the near future. The exact details on what kind of design and layout it will have are scant so far, but nonetheless, here we are going to recap everything we know so far.
Everything we know about the new Valorant map
Thanks to an official preview from Riot himself, we already know that the next Valorant map will have a distinctly tropical theme. This should give it a unique flavor that we haven’t seen in the game yet, although it remains to be seen whether the map itself will be based on a beach town or located in a beach town.
Perhaps the image above indicates that we could be fighting at some kind of island resort? Below you can watch a short video trailer discovered by ValorLeaks that features ambient sounds that at least seem to suggest that we will definitely be by the beach. And if I’m not mistaken, they are Caribbean instruments that play in the background.

Furthermore, we not only know the subject of the letter, but thanks to a leak from Riot’s Vietnamese Twitter page, we also know his name: Valorant’s next letter is called Breeze.

Some of you may have noticed that there is already a brochure called “Discover Breeze” in Haven’s A Heaven:
When will Valorant’s new Map Breeze be released?
There is no confirmed release date for Breeze yet, but it should be released at the beginning of the next act or no later than the next episode. That means he could join the rotation next week, or he could be held for the start of the third episode of Valorant in about a month.
The saying will be if we will have a preview of Breeze in the next few days. Considering that when Icebox, the latest new Valorant map, was first released, we got a trailer a few days later, we might see the same timeline for Breeze. If that turns out to be the case, I’m counting on releasing Breeze alongside Act III in just seven days.
