How to Convert to Islam? Live Help Service Included!

So do you like what you have learned about Islam? You have come to realize that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah and that He must be worshiped alone without partners. You understand that Allah will not leave us in the dark without showing us how to live. Well, this article was created especially for you. You did not come across this article by chance; in fact, you have been guided by your Creator, Allah.

You are probably praying for guidance and so Allah is answering your prayer and insha’Allah (God willing), you are ready to become a Muslim. So, how exactly does this work? In fact, it is very simple. There is no baptism, no strange rituals, no extravagant ceremonies.

To become a Muslim, all you have to do is declare your faith in Islam. That’s it! Easy right? This declaration of faith is called Shahadah (declaration of faith) and is the first pillar of Islam. All beliefs in Islam are encapsulated in these two statements that make up your Shahadah.

ASH-HADU AN LA ILAHA ILLAL-LAH, WA ASH-HADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN ABDUHU WA RASULUH.

These Arabic words mean: “I testify that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger”.

When you say “La ilaha illal-Lah”, you are literally saying that there is no God except Allah. But the Arabic word for God is “Ilah”, which means something that is worthy of worship, so ultimately what you are saying is that there is no one worthy of worship except the one who is worthy of worship, Allah , God, the creator of heaven and earth.

When you say “Muhammadan Abduhu Wa Rasuluh”, you embrace two things, that Muhammad (may peace and blessings be upon him) is the servant, the worshiper and messenger of Allah.

Why is it important? Well, in the past, some of Allah’s prophets were wrongly deified, worshiped alongside or in the place of Allah. Therefore, this statement reinforces that worship is only for Allah. Second, by testifying that Muhammad ﷺ is the Messenger of Allah, you are also accepting the message that you have been given, the Qur’an, as well as the things he has taught and the examples he has set for us. Conversion to Islam also means that you accept the articles of faith, the things that every Muslim is to believe in:

  • Allah: God only
  • without partners, it deserves all the adoration.
  • Angels: God’s creation – always in submission to him.
  • Revelations: Manuals that God
  • Almighty revealed to the Messengers to help people live a spiritually high life.
  • Messengers: From Adam to Noah Moses and Jesus to the last messenger Muhammad (peace be upon them all). They all came with the same “worship God alone” message.
  • Judgment Day: The last day that people will be held responsible for their actions.
  • Predestination: Accepting that God knows what happened in the past. He knows the future and it is He who decreed everything in life.

You also accept the five pillars of Islam, the actions of a Muslim, which are:

  • Shahadah: Testimony of faith.
  • Salah: Daily prayers.
  • Zakah: Annual charity.
  • Sawm: Fasting during the month of Ramadan.
  • Hajj: The pilgrimage to Mecca that every Muslim should do once in his life if he is able physically and financially.

Now that you understand perfectly what it means to become a Muslim you are ready to do your Shahadah.

If Allah wiped away all the sins you committed in your life in exchange for a sincere Shahadah, would that be an excellent deal? Well, God makes you an even better deal. Not only will He cleanse all the sins you have committed in your life, but He will take those sins, turn them into rewards, and return them to you. So, not only do you start your life from that sinless moment, but you start your life ahead with all the rewards you have just been blessed with, is it an incredible deal now or what? Well, there’s more…

Do you want to know what a person must do to reach Paradise? Well, before I tell you what he gets, let me explain who he is. The last person to do this in Paradise is a person who has done nothing good in his life, except declaring his faith in Islam, to Shahadah, so he was sent to hellfire to atone for his unrepentant sins. So, what would be a fair reward for that person? Would he be happy with a mansion in Paradise? How about a city, would that make you happy? How about an entire state for yourself? A country? How about the whole earth? It certainly has to satisfy the most greedy of us.

Well, God promises that the last person to reach Paradise will have this land 10 times, and everything in it in size, all for a sincere declaration of faith!

After doing your Shahadah, you officially become a Muslim. All your past sins are not only forgiven, but converted into rewards, you are as free from sin as a newborn. Because you are in such a pure state now, it is the best time for you to do a lot of Du’a (a personal prayer of supplication), where you can ask Allah to help you along this path, and continue to guide it. you and guide your family.

Allah has seriously blessed you, guiding you to this way of life that He has created for you. In fact, He also chose you out of the billions to be closer to Him and live your life in a way that is pleasing to Him.
