Total War: Shogun 2 is a game where you take your chosen warlord and conquer as much of Japan as you can, ideally leading to the creation of your own shogunate. As with all Total War games , Shogun 2’s goal is simple but elusive.
The game isn’t all about combat, even if that’s what many of us enjoy the most, and the prospect of taking over feudal Japan seems a lot easier if you’re not someone who manipulates generals, provinces, resources, research, and diplomats. Luckily, there are a number of cheat codes that will lighten your load so you can focus more on making your daimyō the next shogun and worry less about pesky resources like “money” and “time”
