Geographic location
The El Yarey Cemetery is located on the highway that joins the cities of Puerto Padre and Las Tunas between the towns of Maniabon and Vázquez within the area occupied by the popular council of El Yarey . It occupies an area of approximately one hectare.
Functioning
It offers its funeral services 7 days a week, it is operated by the community services company of the Puerto Padre municipality, which supplies the necessary materials to carry out the burial, as well as specialized transportation for the transfer of the deceased from the funeral home or place where the wake is held to the cemetery itself.
Building
Most of the tombs and graves are made of concrete, bricks and prefabricated panels, the perimeter fence is masonry. The most used construction styles in tombs are baroque and neoclassical.
