By now you have understood: the abundant consumption of apples, in all varieties, can only be good for your body and your skin. But you can also benefit greatly from the local use, it would be the case to say cosmetic, of the precious apple. The many wellness centers scattered throughout the peninsula, but more concentrated in the area, know this well
where the cultivation of apples is widespread, Trentino Alto Adige, which have long since started wellness programs in which the apple is the protagonist. To give yourself moments of DIY wellness at home, here are some simple recipes that take advantage of all the cosmetic properties of apples.
To thoroughly cleanse the skin, prepare a mixture by mixing a glass of milk with the juice of a centrifuged apple and apply to the skin with a cotton swab. Alternatively, mix a glass of milk with a tablespoon of white clay powder and the centrifuged juice of an apple; pat the skin with a cotton swab, leave on for 20 minutes, then remove with warm water.
Mix a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Rub the solution on your face by massaging with circular movements, then rinse with warm water. Vinegar has an illuminating and exfoliating effect; the oil deeply hydrates the epidermis.
To exfoliate the skin and keep it soft, smooth and hydrated, mix 500 g of yogurt (eliminates dead cells and stimulates skin renewal) with a glass of apple juice (contains malic acid, with exfoliating power). Apply to the skin of the legs and arms and leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse.
Take two or three kilos of apples, blend them with the skin and let them ferment for about eight hours at room temperature (this is the time it takes for the pulp to produce malic acid, a substance that is beneficial for the skin). After this time, apply the pulp as a pack on the body and leave it on for 20 minutes, then remove everything and take a lukewarm shower.
Juice two apples and pass a gauze soaked in the juice all over the body.
