As expected, SuperEQ packages are always colorful, beautiful to look at and full of information. Opening the box, in addition to the SuperEQ S8 Bluetooth headphones, we find valid accessories to mention: a soft eco-leather case to store the headphones when not in use, a USB-C charging cable , a 3.5 mm audio cable , an airplane adapter , user manual and 24 month warranty.
Design and build quality
These minimalist, ergonomic and non-enveloping headphones, made of plastic and metal, are very different in design from the SuperEQ headphones we were used to. Here we find pavilions earphones , flexible and rotatable , with black opaque smooth finishes and imitation leather material, supported by a gilded metal guide which allows, by sliding, to increase the size of the fit.
The headband, made of thin black plastic, is foldable and slightly padded on the inside. It is suitable for different head shapes and does not cause any pressure when wearing the headphones for a long time.
The feeling you get when you hold it in your hands is that of a delicate and above all economic product. In reality, the S8s are cheap but they have been specifically designed to facilitate their transport and always carry them with you. The fact that they are very minimalist facilitates their light structure weighing only 147 grams, making them suitable for adults and children.
The SuperEQ S8 headphones are a great solution for those who love both earphones and over-ear headphones.
The memory foam earpads measure approximately 6 cm and at first glance seem small. They are perfectly suited to those who, like me, have not very large ears and a small head, although their flexibility shouldn’t be a problem. Wearing them I was able to ascertain the right pressure, high insulation, lightness and high wearability. The earpads are incredibly soft in protein leather and do not bother at all.
I listened to my favorite playlist on Spotify for about 2 hours and didn’t experience any annoyance or heaviness.
Their lasting comfort is perfect for both listening to music, watching movies and for long gaming sessions.
- On the left pavilion we find the ANC buttonwith an ANC LED indicator and a USB-C charging port .
- On the right pavilion we have a multifunction buttonwith the volume up / previous song button next to it and a button with volume down / next song. There is also an LED indicator, a 3.5mm audio jack port and a built-in microphone.
Features and controls
These on-ear headphones feature active noise cancellation to enjoy fully immersive sound. You can use them both in wired and wireless mode: in the first case, you can take advantage of the 3.5 mm AUX cable, present in the package, to listen to them with the wire, in the second you have the latest V5.0 wireless chip available, which creates a wider BT range and more robust signals greatly enhancing your audio experience.
The active noise cancellation reduces the noise of city traffic or those of a crowded office up to 75% you can focus more listening. SuperEQ S8 captures ambient noise by applying real-time noise cancellation processing to attenuate it by 25dB and make sure you hear the majority of words. The built-in microphone is useful not only for learning but also for online communication from home.
To connect the S8 headset to your phone you first need to press and hold the multifunction button for about 3 seconds. The headphones will enter pairing mode. From your phone, turn on Bluetooth by selecting “ SuperEQ S8 ” from the list of available Bluetooth connections nearby. By doing so every time you want to pair the headphones with the mobile device, the paring with that specific device will be automatic.
A second Bluetooth device can also be paired with the SuperEQ wireless headphones . To do this, you must deactivate the Bluetooth of the first device and activate it in the second by selecting the item “ SuperEQ S8 “ from the list of available connections . Then reactivate the Bluetooth settings of the first device and pair it with the S8 again. Both devices will be able to control the S8 for playing music content from multiple sources.
There is also support for the dual 3.5 mm AUX wired input mode, while to reset the volume up and volume down buttons must be pressed simultaneously for 5 seconds.
Audio quality
The SuperEQ S8 features large-aperture 40mm neodymium magnet drivers and HiFi audio to ensure an immersive listening experience. The sound quality is balanced by powerful bass and clean mids and highs. Even raising the volume to the maximum I could see that the sound does not distort but is still remarkably clear.
After putting them on you will hear rich, clean audio and an incredible non-annoying fit. By switching between Transparency and Active Noise Canceling modes, you’ll hear much more punchy bass with extended frequencies and a more enveloping sound.
Also on the subject of telephone calls , I was able to ascertain that the voices are incredibly clear thanks to the dynamic and powerful drivers.
Autonomy
As far as durability is concerned, this device features a built-in 380 mAh lithium battery and is capable of meeting the listening needs of around 400 songs and conducting 25 online meetings at 60% volume.
It guarantees 18 hours of playback in Bluetooth mode with a charge of only 2.5 hours. In the noise reduction mode you can use it for 40 hours (volume 60%) to listen to music content while in the ANC + wireless mode you will have a battery life of 12 hours.

In addition to a lightweight design and lasting comfort , it has incredible sound quality. They have been designed to be folded into the case and to fit any head size whether it be an adult or a child. The earpads are comfortable and soft, although their size may not be suitable for everyone.
They are definitely the best choice for studying, listening to music, chatting with friends and having fun.
