The Radeon HD series

The Radeon HD series is the generation of graphics cards from the manufacturer ATI Technologies that was born as a continuation of the Radeon X line of models and the first designed after the absorption of ATI by AMD. This range is primarily targeted at the dedicated, integrated and mobile graphics chip industry. At the end of 2010 AMD, of which ATI is a Subsidiary, announced that from the Radeon HD 6000,1 Series the ATI brand would be replaced by AMD to help drive the AMD Vision and AMD Fusion platforms.
