Biographical synthesis
Adam was born in San Diego , San Diego County, California the 15 of December of 1971 , son of Valerie a graphic artist and a lawyer Brody Mak, also has twin brothers, Sean and Matt. He attended Wangenheim Middle School and Scripps Ranch High School, where he gets poor grades. Adam took drama classes in Los Angeles, managing to sign a contract as an agent, later he participated in Growing up Brady as Barry Willians, in addition to obtaining supporting roles in the series The Gilmore Girls.

Artistic career
After a year of training and auditions, Adam landed in the role of Barry Williams in the 2000 TV movie Growing Up Brady. He also participated in the Canadian television comedy series The Sausage Factory. In 2001 , he played a small role in American Pie 2, dubbed “High School Boy.” He was one of two high school boys who was kicked out of Steve Stifler’s party. He was accepted in recurring roles on Gilmore Girls in the period 2002 – 2003 as Dave Rygalski, his bandmate Lane and love interest before his character left to go to California , or in this case, The OC.
In 2003, Adam wrote “Home Safety” (a short film), appeared in the movie Grind and also in a music video for a song called “Too Bad About Your Girl” by The Donnas. Still in 2003, he began to play his most famous role to date, Seth Cohen, a somewhat awkward teenager, on the television show The OC, managing to improvise some of the character’s comic dialogue. The role made him a teenage idol, with the character that has been described by the Los AngelesTimes as “sexy tv geek” and by the time it takes to “redefine” the screen persona of “unapologetic” nerdiness; His character (defined by director Jon Kasdan as the “new type of nerdy Jewish individual: both self-critical and self-obsessed”) has inspired the scripts to describe the particular characters as “Adam Brody types”.
The role has also developed an Adam followed by fans and as a result, Adam was ranked number 17 in 2006’s independent online “100 Sexiest Men Alive” , twice on Teen’s annual people list of “25 Sexiest Stars Under 25 years “, and was the first man on the cover of Elle Girl. He also appeared three times, 2003, 2004 , 2005 in People magazine “Hottest 50 Singles”. Adam appeared alongside Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in the 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith and served as a Hollywood studio assistant in the 2006 film adaptation of Thanks for Smoking. Adam signed a seven-year contract with The OC, playing the role of Seth Cohen,
His next film was In the Land of Women, a romantic comedy co-starring Meg Ryan and Kristen Stewart. In the film, Adam plays the title role, a writer who returns to his mother’s Michigan hometown in order to care for his ailing grandmother. Adam did not have to audition for the role, but could hardly appear in the film due to scheduling conflicts with the second season of The OC. Adam, along with actor Zac Efron, was in consideration for the lead role in the movie Speed Racer, a role that was eventually given to Emile Hirsch.
