As planned , this July 27, Google announced the winners of its Indie Games Festival , the competition in which developers from all over the world compete to make their titles the best indie games of the year .
From among all the finalists, Google has selected the nine winners , three from each of the participating regions: Europe, Japan and South Korea. All winners will receive various prizes to help them continue their path in the world of mobile video game creation , ranging from sessions with experts from the Google Play team, Google hardware, promotional campaigns in the app store and more.

Next, we list each and every one of the nine winning games of this competition organized by Google , along with the name of the company in charge of bringing them to reality. - European winners
- Cookies Must Dieby Rebel Twins (Poland) : a fun title that we tested on Andro4all , in which a candy factory has started producing mutant cookies that seek to destroy society on the orders of their evil bosses. Your mission? Of course, destroy all the cookies and not let a single one escape.
- Inbentofrom Afterburn (Poland) – An addictive game where you have to play with food, making homemade recipes and enjoying a sweet culinary story.
- The White Doorfrom Rusty Lake (Netherlands) : This game puts you in the shoes of Robert Hill after waking up in a mental health institute, suffering from severe amnesia. You must follow the strict daily routine of the institute, exploring his dreams and helping him regain his memories.
- Japan winners
- GIGAFALLby Shiki Game Studio – Control Earth-orbiting satellite lasers and destroy meteorites, all in a game with fantastic 8-bit graphics.
- METBOY! from REBUILD GAMES: Take control of a “METBOY” with a “Blade Met” and venture into “Metland”, in a game with retro graphics reminiscent of those of classic consoles.
- Wasurenaide, otona ninatte mo from GAGEX Co., Ltd. : the story of a boy in search of her father, in a game with Minecraft-style graphics.
- South Korean winners
- Heroes Restaurantby Team Tapas : a light RPG with anime aesthetics, where you take control of a restaurant and fight with the most curious monsters.
- LEME Magic Survival: Survive the hordes of enemies that will appear in this game with minimalist graphics.
- Project Marsby Moontm – become the leader of the Mars Survival Project to colonize Mars, gathering all the necessary resources to survive the dangers of the red planet.
