8 THINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN LIFE HITS YOU STRONG

“I am determined to be happy and happy in any situation I might find myself in. I learned that most of our misery or unhappiness is not caused by what happens to us, but by our attitude “.

– Martha Washington

You think everything is going well, then one day life hits you .

A mourning, a failure, an illness, a betrayal.

The unexpected is around the corner and can catch you at any time.

The world seems to collapse on you .

At that moment, getting up seems impossible .

But is not so.

This is precisely the moment when you can use your skills , your resources.

All you need is within you.

It is in moments of darkness that your light can shine even more vividly .

It is not easy, obviously.

But each of us can do it .

Regardless of the circumstances, you always have a choice in life : how you respond to what happens to you.

Your attitude makes the difference when life hits you and you have to get up.

Here are 8 things you need to remember in these circumstances:

1. Everything you need is within you.

Inside you have infinite resources , you have the skills and tools to react and recover.

Life can strike or disappoint you, of course, but you have the strength to respond to any difficulty and get back on track.

Your task is not to let yourself be torn down and draw on your inner resources by adopting an attitude of trust and positivity.

2. Your story is not over.

When life throws us to the ground, we often feel unable to react .

We think it’s all over.

But just because a chapter has closed does not mean that the story of our life has ended .

What looks like a dead end is actually a new beginning .

This phase of confrontation with the difficulties will become an integral part of your story.

Your story will continue, all you have to do is live it .

You won’t like it every moment, but in the end you were the architect.

3. Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Find out how strong you really are.

You found yourself in what looks like a dead end, you are forced to start again.

But this is not a misfortune, it is indeed the unique opportunity to write the destiny you have always desired.

Appreciate what you still have and make it a solid foundation to start again.

You are still alive and the opportunities are endless , think about it.

Sometimes, that’s all we have and sometimes it’s all we need .

4. Engage continuously.

You will not always feel motivated to give your best to get back into the game.

There will be dark days , days when the temptation to drop everything will be very strong.

Those are the moments when you don’t have to give up .

Go on, one step at a time . With your rhythm, with your energies.

“If you can’t fly, then run, if you can’t run, then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep going.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

5. Find what motivates you.

What are your dreams? What would you do if you didn’t need money?

What makes you feel alive? What does a feeling of well-being give you?

Which people do you love spending time with? Together with whom do you feel charged and full of energy?

The answer to these questions will show you the direction you need to take, the way forward.

Do not live according to the expectations of others.

You are not here to make someone else’s dreams come true.

6. Life is change.

Do not measure the quality of your life by the ease of the path, but by the attitude with which you have faced it.

Change will be an integral part of your journey and you will be able to grow only when you are able to face it.

Don’t hide, play with your face open .

Don’t aim for stability, stay flexible and be able to adapt .

Make sure that unexpected events and defeats never take you by surprise.

7. Stay positive.

Whatever happens, don’t lose confidence .

It is normal to feel depressed and defeated after a blow.

Connect with your pain and your anguish , don’t repress them. Take it out, suffer.

But be ready to leave.

Never lose confidence. Trust is not something ethereal and intangible. Trust has the power to create things .

With the right spirit, with the right attitude you can create your destiny .

“Change your thoughts, change your life.” – Wayne Dyer

8. Become the protagonist of your life.

Don’t be a passive spectator of your life.

Don’t just let things “happen to you .

Don’t think about constraints, limits , social and family conditions.

Guide your existence wherever you would like it to be.
