Zonejo Minilop

Minilop. Also called German Belier, it is described as a sociable animal with people and other rabbits .

Origen

It originated in Germany , where it was known as “kleine Widder”. The breed was brought to the United States by Bob Herschbach. Bob introduced his animals to the ARBA convention in 1974, and the name was Americanized to Mini Lop or Belier Dwarf. Until 1980 the breed was not recognized by the ARBA as a new breed of rabbit. New colors for this breed originated in the United States , the result of crosses with French Beliers and Chinchillas; the originals were agouti and white.
