It is also possible to unlock the view and download of an image from the Trust Center of any document that is being downloaded, to achieve unlocking apply the following steps:

In Outlook 2007

  1. Navigate to the document that contains the image you want to download.
  2. Inside the document click on the File option.
  3. Then select the Tools option and then the Trust Center option.
  4. Click again on the Trust Center option.
  5. On the left side you will be shown a panel where the Trust Center Settings option is located,click on it.
  6. Now select the option Management of attachments, in the boxes that will be shown to you, uncheck if the box with the name deactivate preview of attachments is checked.
  7. Now click on Attachments and document preview.
  8. You will find the attachment preview options active or check all the boxes that are shownto you, finally press Apply.
  9. Select the Automatic download option and then uncheck the Do not automatically download images from emails box and finally press Apply.

For Outlook 2010 and later versions

  1. Enter the document that contains the image you want to view.
  2. Select the Files option.
  3. Click on Options.
  4. In the one that will open again, click on Trust Center and then on Trust Center
  5. You will be shown on the left side the option Treatment of attached data, click on it.
  6. On the right side, a window will be shown in which you will find the Disable attachment preview box, uncheck it.
  7. In the same current window you will find the Controllers option, click on it.
  8. Next, a new window will be shown, check all the boxes you findand press OK.
  9. Now go to the Automatic download section, look for the Do not download images from emails option and uncheck the box next to it.
  10. To finish, click OK.
  11. How to allow images received from a particular domain to be displayed?

You can configure your Outlook email account so that the images sent to you by a particular domain are shown to you automatically and without problems , doing this is very simple, you just have to follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Outlook email account .
  2. When entering the account, look for the email of the particular domain.
  3. Right click on locked item.
  4. You will be shown the option Add item to list of safesenders, click on it and that’s it.

What steps should you follow to modify the ‘Registry Editor’ and see all the images?

There are occasions in which when trying to download an image, a message is displayed informing you that it is no longer available. This can occur when the image in the message contains an origin that points to BlockHTTPimages and the registry value that the device allows is of 1.

This problem has a solution, you just have to edit the Registry Editor of your computer so that all the images can be displayed in it, to make said modification, do the following:

  1. Close the page where you have your Outlook email account open.
  2. Open the registry editor of your computer , to do this press the Windows keys plus R if you have Windows 8 or 10, if you use Windows 7 you must go to start and press run.
  3. Type in the box that will show you regedit.exe and then press enter.
  4. Find and click on the appropriate subkey:
    • They are group address: Key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\x.0\Common DWORD: BlockHTTPimages. Value 1
    • With group address:Key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\policies\Microsoft\Office\x.0\Common DWORD: BlockHTTPimages. Value 1
  5. Now click on the BlockHTTPimages subsection, also the key.
  6. Click on delete and confirm the action.
  7. To finish, go to the Files menu and press Exit.
