Synopsis
In the third installment of the Vampire Chronicles , we approach the abysmal world of Lestat again, this time with his lover, the Queen of the Damned. Lestat, turned into a famous rock star, wakes up Akasha, the Queen of the Damned with his music. The once queen of the Nile , she takes Lestat as her lover and right hand, and turns all her strength into the destruction of vampires and males in order for the females to create a new order. Despite Lestat’s pleas, the Queen’s wishes are unstoppable, and a sacrifice will be required to end her desire for destruction.
Author
Anne Rice’s real name is Hovard Allen. He was born in New Orleans in 1941 . He studied at the University of Berkeley , finished his studies at San Francisco State University where he graduated in Philosophy and Letters, specializing in Political Science and Creative Writing. In 1965 he published his first work entitled ” October 4, 1948 “. He currently resides in Rancho Mirage, California .
