Technosexual

It is the most modern version of the metrosexual, a restricted portion of urban men who are very concerned with their physical appearance. The technosexual has a great concern with beauty, although he is heterosexual, he presents an attitude similar to that of women, but which gives great relevance to the objects of advanced technology used in daily life. This revolutionary term was headed by the American physicist and mathematician Ricky Montalvo, who defines technosexual as a narcissistic and urban being, fascinated by computers, with a high standard of living.

In fact, he is a man adept at healthy habits, such as sports, healthy eating, but who rejects the use of cosmetics and cosmetic surgery. He prefers to spend his time exploring his notebook, installing more advanced sound systems in his car. According to the story, the term was used for the first time in 1970, to make inquiries about the sexual attraction of man for machines, robots and androids. However, the term was redefined by Montalvo, which does not involve any sexual orientation, since it is a universal concept that defines a lifestyle based on the latest technological advances.

Until recently, the prototype of a man to be followed was soccer player David Beckham. However, this model of man has been left behind by the Arsenal player, Swede Fredrick ljungberg, who was the protagonist of the sensual campaign for Calvin Klein. The Swede is the perfect example of the so-called technosexual, as he takes care of his physical appearance like the meter and, does not miss any technological launch, he is always interacted with the world of technology.
