Synthesis

He was born on January 28, 1943 in Havana City. He studied Telecommunications Engineering for one year at the University of Havana .

He began working at the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC) in 1961 , in the Sound Department, where he began as a recording assistant, then a microphone operator, and later, a sound recorder.

In his professional career he participated in the elaboration of the soundtrack of some 70 documentaries and more than 36 fiction feature films, of these 20 with direct sound, he also made the recordings of the music of most of his works as well as the final mix of the same. He was one of the most experienced sound technicians in Cuban cinema.

He deserved the medal for National Culture.
