How to put your profile password on PS4
To achieve your goal, all you have to do is set an access code from the console settings. First you need to turn on the PS4 , then take your controller and access the Settings (toolbox icon). Now an option should appear, that is Users : choose this and then select Login Settings, then access the Access Code Management.
At this point you should see the Set passcode: Login for PS4 screen , and that’s where you need to set your new password . Choose a combination of buttons and then insert it where you read Enter a new access code, then repeat it for the system to verify it. You did it: you have a password associated with your profile!
However, to activate the changes, you must log out of your profile or restart the PS4 . How to do? Just long press the PS button on the controller and select the item Log out of the PS4 from the menu that opens. Alternatively, you can turn off the console by choosing the Shutdown option (to do this, use the arrow keys of the control and then press on Restart PS4 ).
Please note: if you have second thoughts and want to remove the password set on your password, you can always do so by accessing the Settings, Users , Login settings, Management of access codes, Delete access code. Then enter the current password and it will be deactivated.
