Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has over a dozen side missions that unlock as you progress through the main storyline. In this guide, we will cover the passage of all side tasks.

After you get started setting up and running the Oscorp security system, head to the Financial District Police Department to find a worker who needs help.
An employee is willing to turn a blind eye to the fact that you are hacking into security systems if you can find out who is jamming the signals in the Financial District. Please note that the entire city map will be temporarily disabled for this quest, and you will have to use the radar to try to locate three different jammers.

If you look to the eastern skyline, you will see waves of energy emanating from the roof of one of the buildings in the Financial District. Follow there and go upstairs to find a lot of Fisk’s men guarding one of the silencers. You will get to the L-shaped roof, armed thugs will stand in the corners. If you’re patient, you can take out some of them using sneak attacks from the ledges. When the bandits are eliminated, find the jammer and hold L1 + R1 (or the indicated keys) to destroy it. There are two more left!

The second tower is located exactly south of your current position – again, look for giant waves of energy emanating from the nearest rooftop. Stop a few buildings before the tower and note that there are snipers on the higher building on the side covering their associates. Everything will be much easier if you sneak up and kill them in advance.
As for the main building, there are two patrols and a few small groups away from the outskirts – so try to take out the patrols by stealth before engaging the others – and don’t forget to throw various objects at opponents, knocking them off balance or knocking them down. Then you can press to the floor with a web.

The final silencer is located to the west of your current location, behind a couple of skyscrapers on the way to the tallest building in the area. Again, there are a few thugs located near the edge of the roof that can be killed silently if timed correctly. Avoid the lone patrolling thug and attack him while he has his back turned to you. After that, deal with the remaining opponents.

Destroying the last silencer will make the map available again. But the mission is not over yet. The worker will report that strange activity has been recorded at the docks, so move east to the outskirts of the Financial District, where you will find several trucks with thugs guarding the docks. As before, stealth will help you. Start with her. Look for the lone thug at the parked cars to deal with him before moving on to the trucks and taking out the patrolmen outside. After dealing with the first crimes in the city, you can find a side mission north of the Guggenheim Museum on the Upper East Side, overlooking Central Park. A bird-watching woman spotted strange men on the rooftops taking over Belvedere Castle in Central Park.
Follow through the trees through the park to a small castle in the distance and head towards the tallest spire. Here you will find Fisk’s men located below you. As usual, they are up to no good. There are a total of six enemies in the castle, including one sniper positioned above and watching the others. Jump down to him and kill first, and then – one of the thugs, who goes to cover the doorway against the left wall (no one sees him).

The rest of the opponents are easy to deal with. But you can still sneak up on the one below the sniper’s position and kill him stealthily. It is advisable to do this at the moment when the lone patrol joins the two distant thugs. It remains to finish off the remaining targets or tie them with cobwebs to the walls until they understand what happened. When all the thugs are eliminated, inspect the laptop that one of the men was using – in the far corner. Follow to the right place, the chase will begin. You will have just under three minutes, but every time a thug appears near the computer or you move too far away, the timer stops. Therefore, stay close to the computer and keep Fisk’s bandits out.
After you get rid of the enemies, the timer will start again, and Stephanie will notice two more groups of thugs. Both of them will have their own laptop, which means that you need to destroy two posts in about 2 minutes: one is in the north, the other is in the northeast. Use the available gadgets to quickly eliminate all targets. Lure anyone who approaches the computer into the web. Fortunately, almost always one of the opponents will be carried away by the laptop, and will not interfere with you. And you can use this to your advantage by attacking the target when he has lost his guard.

After you put the Shocker behind bars, a new side mission will open on the border of Midtown and the northern part of Greenwich, in Madison Square Park. Talk to the woman at the edge of the park to find out that her husband is acting strange. She suspects that he fell into the wrong company.
Head to the Detox Center nearby to find a man talking to a mysterious blue-haired woman. You need to take a picture of her face. Perhaps Carmen will recognize her. Therefore, move from your place to the canopy above the store, under which the couple meets, and take out the camera.
The woman will mention something about the photo she shows if Rodrigo tells anyone about the plan. Wait until she gets into the taxi and watch her from above. Continue navigating the web as the taxi travels from Greenwich to the Hell’s Kitchen border. The car will stop under the overpass. Aim at the bottom of the overpass, grab onto the ceiling and crawl until you can take a picture of the face of the guy who is talking to the mysterious woman.
Now you have a new person to follow, but it won’t be easy. When he turns the corner, he will rush into the subway and out of sight. Luckily, Spidey can connect to the train system to see a picture of the train moving underground. You will chase the train from above. Follow the train as it travels north, then the train will turn slightly west and into an open area. You can even see it for a little while – the one passing between the buildings. Follow him north along the open area until he goes to the next station. Then go right to the subway entrance and wait for Deshawn to come out.
He will head to the nearest office and you can watch his outline in the elevator – cling to the building and crawl up until he exits, then go right until you see him move to the corner room with the “boss”. You again need to use your own camera to take a picture of the boss’s face. Through the first window, take a photo of the TV screen that Deshawn is looking at, then keep crawling around the corner to take a photo through another window.
When the criminals get into the cars and leave, you will have to stop what is happening. Chase them using web and speed. When you get close, click on the “triangle” to get close to the rear car. Tilt the stick left or right to grab the criminals who are about to shoot at you. Then do the same with the driver. Click on the “square” to stop the car safely.

The place you need is near the deli – not so far northwest of your current location, next to one of the bridges leading out of the city. Look for the June Kraus Theatre, police barricade and explore the place. The bandits are alive, the daughter is still in place. Continue south until you reach an intersection surrounded by fire trucks and officers. The building is still smoldering. The firemen will applaud your bravery, as will the woman whose friend you saved.
Note. In the side missions, the spectograph puzzles vary in difficulty depending on how far along the main storyline you have progressed. If you remember spectrograph puzzles, you need to use equipment to match patterns and get more capacious results. The left pattern has two normal lines in the middle and a thick line on the right. The pattern on the right has two thick lines with a smaller line in the middle.
Once you know what chemical the fake Spider-Man used, you can follow the blue dumpster trailer down the alley and along the top of Golden Gates Park, then turn north. You can even look around the hot dog stand at a nearby intersection to find out that the impostor got a free hot dog!

Ahead will be a policeman who caught a bandit. He may have run into your doppelgänger. He will tell you about the drug deal on the roof, which you have to inspect to find out more about the copycat. Examine the beaten thugs and the drugs left behind. When you look on the other side of the building, you will find that the double is in trouble. Quickly disarm enemies by aiming and pressing R1, then eliminate them. Your fellow Spider-Man will help with this. A little later, more Fisk thugs with weapons will appear, so you can decide how to deal with them. Use webs or gadgets, including smart webs, to pin enemies to walls and make things easier.

In total, you need to find 12 pigeons, they are literally in each of the districts:
- Chinatown – 1 pigeon
- Financial District – 1 dove
- Greenwich – 2 doves
- Hell’s Kitchen – 1 dove
- Midtown – 2 doves
- Upper West Side – 2 pigeons
- Upper East Side – 1 pigeon

To find the pigeons, hack the towers and be able to determine their location. Every time you get close to a pigeon, a green area will appear on the minimap – this is the search area. As soon as the dove takes off, it will appear on your interface. You need to chase the bird using speed boosts. When you get close to a pigeon, press and hold L1 + R1 to catch it. For each pigeon rescued, you will receive 1 research token. Experience points will be awarded after capturing and returning all the pigeons to Howard.

The woman on the roof will offer an internet call. First, equip your camera and take a picture of the QR code displayed on the wall. After taking the picture, you will be given the GPS coordinates of other QR codes in the area. The person who left the QR codes has kidnapped someone, and only you can expose him.
Head southwest to find the first code at the corner of a couple of large apartment buildings. However, the code is displayed at an angle, so you need to move to the roof of the building east of the houses and adjust the angle so that it forms a perfect square. Your gift for solving this puzzle is a bunch of thugs to eliminate! There is a Brutus among them, and some will have weapons, so quickly entangle them with webs or throw items to stun. Use the Web Bomb (if you have one) to disorient and incapacitate opponents.

Your next target is northwest of your current location, close to the Bar with No Name landmark. Like the previous QR code, this one will be split between two different buildings on the north side. Getting the right angle is a little trickier, because instead of standing on the roof, you have to climb to the top of the sloping side of the building north of the one you’re trying to photograph. Keep checking your camera lens until you find the spot for the perfect shot. And again there will be a group of thugs. This time they will plant three bombs on the nearby rooftops – so move quickly towards them and grab them using L1 + R1. Then toss into the air and extinguish with a web on R1.
Finally, you will have the address of the kidnapping victim and you can finish this crazy game. Head southwest of your current position, north of the Moningside University campus. Find the Indivisible Tow & Repair sign in a small alleyway and break open the gate to save… the victim? Looks like you’ve been played, and inside you’ll find a group of bandits.

Quickly toss a web bomb behind you to immobilize enemies, then pounce on the gun-wielding thugs before making sure the Brute is either entangled in webs or stunned by the throw of some surrounding objects. New thugs will spawn from both ends of the alleys, so be prepared to dodge incoming attacks and keep an eye out for new enemies (they are immune to lightning attacks). You can still stick them to the wall, stun them, or knock them down. Finish off the thugs and the Weird will go to jail. And you complete the task!

After completing the main mission “Upstream”, MJ will report that she left a tracking chip with Tombstone, which she found in the garage in the Octavius Industries lab. You will be able to start this side quest and track down Tombstone. Go to the location and look for the tracking chip where the Circuit Projects terminal is usually located. As you might expect, you will have to solve a few mini puzzles.

The device requires 5 units of voltage. The game has several positive voltage circuits and one negative one. Since you only have +1 and +3 voltage nets, you need to use two +3 nets and one -1 net to add up to “5”. Leave the lab. The radar will begin to ping and point to the northeast. Follow the signal to the target. Eventually, the route will go north towards the middle of Hell’s Kitchen. If you arrive on time, you will notice a giant truck heading east towards Midtown.
Jump on the truck and follow forward to kill the driver and stop the car. Unfortunately, the bikers will ambush you – many of them will be with rifles. Luckily, their own bikes can be used against them, so feel free to throw them at your enemies. And when they hit the ground, fire a few web shots to pin them down. Once the bikers have been eliminated, explore the back of the truck to find some containers. After obtaining the Tombstone Tracking Chip and completing the previous side quest, you can continue the chain by taking the next mission in East Harlem, at the Alchemax Chemical Plant. Infiltrate the chemical plant under cover of night and find it filled with Tombstone’s biker gang. While you don’t need to be stealthy (unless you want to), there are a few armed enemies here, so you can equip stealth mods, including the Bioscanner and Silent Walk. This will avoid unwanted attention.

Near your position, at the main entrance, there is a large group of enemies and a truck they are unloading. So first go left to the north side of the shipping area to start with the guards at the tall lampposts. After you take out the two enemies in the corner quietly, approach a cargo container with a few guards on the other side and lure out one of them by hitting the wooden crates. Eliminate it silently.
Go to the starting position, keep killing the lone guards at the containers until you can approach the truck they are still unloading. Hit the boxes behind the truck to get attention, then grab the biker in front of the truck. When you’re ready, attack the remaining targets with a bomb. Enemies will either be webbed to the side of the truck or will try to get out of it, giving you the perfect opportunity to finish off.

Once you’ve taken care of all the enemies, inspect the barrels being unloaded for harmful chemicals. Soon there will be bikers who will inhale the chemicals and become stronger and more invulnerable. The three enemies that attack you will take chemicals that will make them immune to almost anything you throw at them. Fortunately, the effect is short-lived, so when you see that their skin has returned to normal, quickly attack and finish. You can also launch a shock web to stick enemies to a truck or wall. But it’s much easier to wait until they become vulnerable again, and destroy each one individually.
Soon there will be new reinforcements. Most of the enemies will be unarmed, but some will still take rifles with them. Try to web them with normal shots, and then use a stun blast to push everyone against the wall of the wall and incapacitate them. And don’t forget to drop your bikes!

After completing the story mission “Spider Hack” in the Oscorp building, a new side mission will appear in ESU in Greenwich. Head to the north end of campus to talk to a student named Philip Chang who can’t find his roommate who went missing after the Halloween attack.
He found a recent photo of his roommate on social media. Apparently, the guy is in some place with a view of the Statue of Liberty and some trees. You need to head to the south of the Financial District (south of your current location). You should find a place with a rooftop view with two gazebos taken from a balcony nearby.

You’ll find this location on the rooftop of a two-story building northwest of the Battery Park Landmark. When you get there, you will find even more enemies. Like the ones you’ve fought in ESU, they aren’t particularly strong, but they can still deal damage – especially since you can become vulnerable the moment you knock down an enemy and pin them to the floor. If you do not want to be attacked at this moment, use the web, normal or shock, to stick enemies to the walls. Once you deal with everyone, you can catch up with Carlos and complete the side mission.

This mission will appear after you complete the previous side mission. It is taken from the same quest giver, Philip Chang, located in the courtyard of the university, opposite the place where you found him last time. He found more distraught students and was able to pinpoint the exact location. You need to look for them somewhere near the railway. You will see a photo of Ethan, the missing student, who is somewhere in the Harlem area, on the elevated train tracks heading towards the bridge. You can find this stop when traveling to East Harlem. Look on the map for a lone bridge on this side of the area.

You can go through Midtown to the Upper East Side, where you will eventually notice the subway exit and elevated tracks. You can even take a train and ride it through Harlem to your desired station. Once you arrive at the right point, find the scene of the accident below you, and the injured man will give some clues as to where the students have gone. Keep running north to find the crazed guys chasing people in the alley.
You will again have to fight a bunch of madmen, although many of them will be busy terrorizing people, which makes the battle easier. This place is full of scaffolding that you can bring down on your enemies by holding L1 + R1. Or you can attack enemies with a shock web. As you turn the corner, get ready for more crazy students. Throw a web bomb to blow up most of them (fly off into the nearest walls) and finish off the rest before breaking through the nearest door and saving the last guy. After finding Ethan, you will complete the task.

This mission will require you to complete the two previous side quests in Greenwich. After them, you will find that Philip Chang has another side mission. Look for him on the territory of ESU, in the western part of the location. Philip found another ESU student, Steve Hopkins, after seeing his photo on social media. It shows a lawn full of bikers and several greenhouses. It appears to be a park area on the Upper West Side, so head west and up along the water. As you pass the Hell’s Kitchen Docks, you will see a park area on the Upper West Side – head to the center of the park to find the student’s last known location.

As expected, Steve is in trouble with the Tombstone gang and you need to help him by taking out the bikers in the area. There are several armed enemies here, so quickly jump to the post and tie the nearest biker. After that, move to the one on the left to neutralize the enemy. The next lone enemy is by the building on the left side – sneak up and silently kill him. Then do the same with the bandit on the other side of the building. Finally, rush to the lamppost on the northern outskirts to catch the last bandit with a weapon.
Now that the odds are even, throw a web bomb at the enemies that attacked Steve. You can use gadgets to stick enemies to walls and objects. Or throw their own motorcycles at them. Once you’ve dealt with the bikers, pin Steve to the ground to complete the mission.

This side mission continues a long chain of quests related to missing ESU students. You need to complete the previous three quests in order to subsequently find Philip Chang in the western part of ESU. Not everyone returned to ESU, Philip says, and he found another photo on social media pointing to a location near the Brooklyn Bridge. You’ll find this location in the southeast corner of the Financial District, so head towards the bridge.

The final task from this chain will be available after the four previous missions. Philip Chang can be found again at ESU Greenwich, among a group of students on the West Side. After you save MJ in the Sable compound in the quest “Uninvited”, you can find a new side mission in the Financial District. The police arrested the demon. The sniper they caught was not alone. Move to the left side. Wait for one of the patrolling Demons to rise before attacking the first sniper from behind. Then jump to his partner. Move along the outskirts and use the pillars to successfully attack the targets. Strike when the patrolling Demons are not looking at the snipers.
After taking out the snipers and patrolling demons around the perimeter, move to the flagpole in the middle of the park and note the 4 demons below. The two are talking to each other, one is facing the hostages and the other is standing off to the side and looking at the two Demons. Deal with the latter first. Then jump down to the roof of a small square building overlooking two Demons. Hit the nearby trash can to distract them. Deal with one of them, finish off the second.

The last enemy, who is watching the hostages, will not pay attention to what is happening. He doesn’t stand a chance! When all the Demons are destroyed and the hostages are saved, you will complete the next side task.

After defeating Mister Negative in The One That Got Away, you will be able to start a new side mission. To do this, move to the Hell’s Kitchen police station.
