Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has over a dozen side missions that unlock as you progress through the main storyline. In this guide, we will cover the passage of all side tasks.

  • In which district to take the task: Financial district.
  • When the quest appears: after completing the “Guarding the World” story mission.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

After you get started setting up and running the Oscorp security system, head to the Financial District Police Department to find a worker who needs help.

An employee is willing to turn a blind eye to the fact that you are hacking into security systems if you can find out who is jamming the signals in the Financial District. Please note that the entire city map will be temporarily disabled for this quest, and you will have to use the radar to try to locate three different jammers.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

If you look to the eastern skyline, you will see waves of energy emanating from the roof of one of the buildings in the Financial District. Follow there and go upstairs to find a lot of Fisk’s men guarding one of the silencers. You will get to the L-shaped roof, armed thugs will stand in the corners. If you’re patient, you can take out some of them using sneak attacks from the ledges. When the bandits are eliminated, find the jammer and hold L1 + R1 (or the indicated keys) to destroy it. There are two more left!

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

The second tower is located exactly south of your current position – again, look for giant waves of energy emanating from the nearest rooftop. Stop a few buildings before the tower and note that there are snipers on the higher building on the side covering their associates. Everything will be much easier if you sneak up and kill them in advance.

As for the main building, there are two patrols and a few small groups away from the outskirts – so try to take out the patrols by stealth before engaging the others – and don’t forget to throw various objects at opponents, knocking them off balance or knocking them down. Then you can press to the floor with a web.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

The final silencer is located to the west of your current location, behind a couple of skyscrapers on the way to the tallest building in the area. Again, there are a few thugs located near the edge of the roof that can be killed silently if timed correctly. Avoid the lone patrolling thug and attack him while he has his back turned to you. After that, deal with the remaining opponents.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Destroying the last silencer will make the map available again. But the mission is not over yet. The worker will report that strange activity has been recorded at the docks, so move east to the outskirts of the Financial District, where you will find several trucks with thugs guarding the docks. As before, stealth will help you. Start with her. Look for the lone thug at the parked cars to deal with him before moving on to the trucks and taking out the patrolmen outside. Distract them with web shots or wait for them to turn away and then finish off the remaining targets. You can ambush them and use the Shock Web if you have it to glue opponents to the trucks.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Examine the weapons at the helicopter at the far end. Parker will understand what Fisk’s people are up to. You still have to fight the last enemy group. Among them will be thugs with shields and melee weapons, so you will have to vary your attacks and stay in the air as long as possible. Throw stun grenades and other gadgets. The latter will be especially useful depending on what you’ve unlocked – and at least with web shots, you can stick enemies to walls, trucks, and so on.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Defeat all the thugs, after which the mission will be completed.

Assault on the fortress

  • Where to pick up the quest: Upper East Side
  • When the quest appears: after completing the “Guarding the World” story mission.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

After dealing with the first crimes in the city, you can find a side mission north of the Guggenheim Museum on the Upper East Side, overlooking Central Park. A bird-watching woman spotted strange men on the rooftops taking over Belvedere Castle in Central Park.

Follow through the trees through the park to a small castle in the distance and head towards the tallest spire. Here you will find Fisk’s men located below you. As usual, they are up to no good. There are a total of six enemies in the castle, including one sniper positioned above and watching the others. Jump down to him and kill first, and then – one of the thugs, who goes to cover the doorway against the left wall (no one sees him).

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

The rest of the opponents are easy to deal with. But you can still sneak up on the one below the sniper’s position and kill him stealthily. It is advisable to do this at the moment when the lone patrol joins the two distant thugs. It remains to finish off the remaining targets or tie them with cobwebs to the walls until they understand what happened. When all the thugs are eliminated, inspect the laptop that one of the men was using – in the far corner. You will find a USB drive in it, but the pigeon will snatch the USB drive before you can examine it. Stephanie will tell you where the nest of this bird is located.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Follow to the right place, the chase will begin. All you have to do is keep up with the flock of birds, following the little blue paths, and swinging in the trees, shooting cobwebs at them and lampposts. After a little chase you will be able to press L1 + R1 to catch the dove. It will probably take a few tries before you find the pigeon with the stick, so keep up the good work. If you fall to the ground after trying to catch a bird, just jump into the air and use the web to pick up speed and keep chasing.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

After you find the disk, return to the castle and connect it to the laptop to find out what the thugs are up to. After revealing their plan, Spider will turn to Stephanie again to find the remaining thugs who are still uploading the virus to the area’s wireless network. Head straight south from the castle to intercept the first group of thugs and keep them away from the computer. You will have just under three minutes, but every time a thug appears near the computer or you move too far away, the timer stops. Therefore, stay close to the computer and keep Fisk’s bandits out.

After you get rid of the enemies, the timer will start again, and Stephanie will notice two more groups of thugs. Both of them will have their own laptop, which means that you need to destroy two posts in about 2 minutes: one is in the north, the other is in the northeast. Use the available gadgets to quickly eliminate all targets. Lure anyone who approaches the computer into the web. Fortunately, almost always one of the opponents will be carried away by the laptop, and will not interfere with you. And you can use this to your advantage by attacking the target when he has lost his guard.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Having prevented all attempts to hack the server, they will move to Stephanie’s position. Quickly return to the northeast where you met the woman. Thugs will burst onto the rooftops, including opponents with weapons, clubs and shields. Shoot webs at ranged foes before tossing melee thugs into the air, then attack enemies with shields from behind. Defeat everyone and return to Stephanie to make sure she’s okay. Mission completed.

Spiderman – Private Investigator

  • In which area to take the task: Midtown
  • When the quest appears: after completing the “Shocking Return” story mission.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

After you put the Shocker behind bars, a new side mission will open on the border of Midtown and the northern part of Greenwich, in Madison Square Park. Talk to the woman at the edge of the park to find out that her husband is acting strange. She suspects that he fell into the wrong company.

Head to the Detox Center nearby to find a man talking to a mysterious blue-haired woman. You need to take a picture of her face. Perhaps Carmen will recognize her. Therefore, move from your place to the canopy above the store, under which the couple meets, and take out the camera.

The woman will mention something about the photo she shows if Rodrigo tells anyone about the plan. Wait until she gets into the taxi and watch her from above. Continue navigating the web as the taxi travels from Greenwich to the Hell’s Kitchen border. The car will stop under the overpass. Aim at the bottom of the overpass, grab onto the ceiling and crawl until you can take a picture of the face of the guy who is talking to the mysterious woman.

Now you have a new person to follow, but it won’t be easy. When he turns the corner, he will rush into the subway and out of sight. Luckily, Spidey can connect to the train system to see a picture of the train moving underground. You will chase the train from above. Follow the train as it travels north, then the train will turn slightly west and into an open area. You can even see it for a little while – the one passing between the buildings. Follow him north along the open area until he goes to the next station. Then go right to the subway entrance and wait for Deshawn to come out.

He will head to the nearest office and you can watch his outline in the elevator – cling to the building and crawl up until he exits, then go right until you see him move to the corner room with the “boss”. You again need to use your own camera to take a picture of the boss’s face. Through the first window, take a photo of the TV screen that Deshawn is looking at, then keep crawling around the corner to take a photo through another window.

When the criminals get into the cars and leave, you will have to stop what is happening. Chase them using web and speed. When you get close, click on the “triangle” to get close to the rear car. Tilt the stick left or right to grab the criminals who are about to shoot at you. Then do the same with the driver. Click on the “square” to stop the car safely.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

When you get airborne to reach the main vehicle, you will be fired at furiously, which means that you need to dodge as often as possible. Race, dodge and accelerate until you catch up with them and you can repeat the same process with another car. Contact Carmen and the mission will be completed.

spider people

  • In which area to take the task: Harlem
  • When the quest appears: after completing the story mission “The Mask”.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

After completing the Masks story mission, you will be able to find a new side quest available in Harlem, near the local police department. Find a shop owner on the street corner who wants to thank you for saving his daughter… but it wasn’t you, was it?

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

The place you need is near the deli – not so far northwest of your current location, next to one of the bridges leading out of the city. Look for the June Kraus Theatre, police barricade and explore the place. The bandits are alive, the daughter is still in place. Continue south until you reach an intersection surrounded by fire trucks and officers. The building is still smoldering. The firemen will applaud your bravery, as will the woman whose friend you saved.

Note. In the side missions, the spectograph puzzles vary in difficulty depending on how far along the main storyline you have progressed. The solution below shows the puzzle that will appear if you complete the side quest as soon as it becomes available. Otherwise, your puzzle may be more difficult!

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

If you remember spectrograph puzzles, you need to use equipment to match patterns and get more capacious results. The left pattern has two normal lines in the middle and a thick line on the right. The pattern on the right has two thick lines with a smaller line in the middle.

Once you know what chemical the fake Spider-Man used, you can follow the blue dumpster trailer down the alley and along the top of Golden Gates Park, then turn north. You can even look around the hot dog stand at a nearby intersection to find out that the impostor got a free hot dog!

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Ahead will be a policeman who caught a bandit. He may have run into your doppelgänger. He will tell you about the drug deal on the roof, which you have to inspect to find out more about the copycat. Examine the beaten thugs and the drugs left behind. When you look on the other side of the building, you will find that the double is in trouble. Quickly disarm enemies by aiming and pressing R1, then eliminate them. Your fellow Spider-Man will help with this. A little later, more Fisk thugs with weapons will appear, so you can decide how to deal with them. Use webs or gadgets, including smart webs, to pin enemies to walls and make things easier.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

After the next wave, several cars will appear with a large number of armed thugs. More enemies will appear from above, they will shoot at you. Several vehicles will have rocket launchers. Fake Spider-Man decides to run away. Remember that an enemy entangled in the web can be thrown against the wall, and he will stick to it.

After the fight, Fake Spider-Man will learn his lesson and promise that he won’t wear the costume again.

Help Howard

  • In which area to take the task: Chinatown
  • When the quest appears: after completing the “Finding a Bed” story mission.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

After the first night, you will be able to get another side mission, on the rooftops near the lodging. Talking to the homeless Howard, you will learn that he recently lost sight of his flock, and only one dove returned to him. By agreeing to complete the task, you will be able to notice a new attraction throughout the city – pigeons. Among them will be those that Howard needs.

In total, you need to find 12 pigeons, they are literally in each of the districts:

  • Chinatown – 1 pigeon
  • Financial District – 1 dove
  • Greenwich – 2 doves
  • Hell’s Kitchen – 1 dove
  • Midtown – 2 doves
  • Upper West Side – 2 pigeons
  • Upper East Side – 1 pigeon
  • Harlem – 2 doves

To find the pigeons, hack the towers and be able to determine their location. Every time you get close to a pigeon, a green area will appear on the minimap – this is the search area. As soon as the dove takes off, it will appear on your interface. You need to chase the bird using speed boosts. When you get close to a pigeon, press and hold L1 + R1 to catch it. For each pigeon rescued, you will receive 1 research token. Experience points will be awarded after capturing and returning all the pigeons to Howard.

internet star

  • In which area to take the task: Harlem
  • When the quest appears: after completing the “Finding a Bed” story mission.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

After completing the Finding a Bed quest and spending the night, you will be able to get a new side mission in the northeast corner of Harlem, by one of the old steel mills. The woman on the roof will offer an internet call. First, equip your camera and take a picture of the QR code displayed on the wall. After taking the picture, you will be given the GPS coordinates of other QR codes in the area. The person who left the QR codes has kidnapped someone, and only you can expose him.

Head southwest to find the first code at the corner of a couple of large apartment buildings. However, the code is displayed at an angle, so you need to move to the roof of the building east of the houses and adjust the angle so that it forms a perfect square. Your gift for solving this puzzle is a bunch of thugs to eliminate! There is a Brutus among them, and some will have weapons, so quickly entangle them with webs or throw items to stun. Use the Web Bomb (if you have one) to disorient and incapacitate opponents.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Your next target is northwest of your current location, close to the Bar with No Name landmark. Like the previous QR code, this one will be split between two different buildings on the north side. Getting the right angle is a little trickier, because instead of standing on the roof, you have to climb to the top of the sloping side of the building north of the one you’re trying to photograph. Keep checking your camera lens until you find the spot for the perfect shot. And again there will be a group of thugs. This time they will plant three bombs on the nearby rooftops – so move quickly towards them and grab them using L1 + R1. Then toss into the air and extinguish with a web on R1.

Finally, you will have the address of the kidnapping victim and you can finish this crazy game. Head southwest of your current position, north of the Moningside University campus. Find the Indivisible Tow & Repair sign in a small alleyway and break open the gate to save… the victim? Looks like you’ve been played, and inside you’ll find a group of bandits.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Quickly toss a web bomb behind you to immobilize enemies, then pounce on the gun-wielding thugs before making sure the Brute is either entangled in webs or stunned by the throw of some surrounding objects. New thugs will spawn from both ends of the alleys, so be prepared to dodge incoming attacks and keep an eye out for new enemies (they are immune to lightning attacks). You can still stick them to the wall, stun them, or knock them down. Finish off the thugs and the Weird will go to jail. And you complete the task!

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Tombstone: on the go

  • In which area to take the task: Greenwich
  • When the quest appears: After completing the “Upstream” story mission.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

After completing the main mission “Upstream”, MJ will report that she left a tracking chip with Tombstone, which she found in the garage in the Octavius Industries lab. You will be able to start this side quest and track down Tombstone. Go to the location and look for the tracking chip where the Circuit Projects terminal is usually located. As you might expect, you will have to solve a few mini puzzles.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

The device requires 5 units of voltage. The game has several positive voltage circuits and one negative one. Since you only have +1 and +3 voltage nets, you need to use two +3 nets and one -1 net to add up to “5”. Leave the lab. The radar will begin to ping and point to the northeast. Follow the signal to the target. Eventually, the route will go north towards the middle of Hell’s Kitchen. If you arrive on time, you will notice a giant truck heading east towards Midtown.

Jump on the truck and follow forward to kill the driver and stop the car. Unfortunately, the bikers will ambush you – many of them will be with rifles. Luckily, their own bikes can be used against them, so feel free to throw them at your enemies. And when they hit the ground, fire a few web shots to pin them down. Once the bikers have been eliminated, explore the back of the truck to find some containers. This will complete the current mission, but will immediately open the second side quest of this chain in Northeast Harlem.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Tombstone: what is he doing there …

  • In which area to take the task: Harlem
  • When the quest appears: after completing the previous side mission.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

After obtaining the Tombstone Tracking Chip and completing the previous side quest, you can continue the chain by taking the next mission in East Harlem, at the Alchemax Chemical Plant. Infiltrate the chemical plant under cover of night and find it filled with Tombstone’s biker gang. While you don’t need to be stealthy (unless you want to), there are a few armed enemies here, so you can equip stealth mods, including the Bioscanner and Silent Walk. This will avoid unwanted attention.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Near your position, at the main entrance, there is a large group of enemies and a truck they are unloading. So first go left to the north side of the shipping area to start with the guards at the tall lampposts. After you take out the two enemies in the corner quietly, approach a cargo container with a few guards on the other side and lure out one of them by hitting the wooden crates. Eliminate it silently.

Go to the starting position, keep killing the lone guards at the containers until you can approach the truck they are still unloading. Hit the boxes behind the truck to get attention, then grab the biker in front of the truck. When you’re ready, attack the remaining targets with a bomb. Enemies will either be webbed to the side of the truck or will try to get out of it, giving you the perfect opportunity to finish off.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Once you’ve taken care of all the enemies, inspect the barrels being unloaded for harmful chemicals. Soon there will be bikers who will inhale the chemicals and become stronger and more invulnerable. The three enemies that attack you will take chemicals that will make them immune to almost anything you throw at them. Fortunately, the effect is short-lived, so when you see that their skin has returned to normal, quickly attack and finish. You can also launch a shock web to stick enemies to a truck or wall. But it’s much easier to wait until they become vulnerable again, and destroy each one individually.

Soon there will be new reinforcements. Most of the enemies will be unarmed, but some will still take rifles with them. Try to web them with normal shots, and then use a stun blast to push everyone against the wall of the wall and incapacitate them. And don’t forget to drop your bikes!

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

When all the bikers have been eliminated, go back to where the first one who inhaled the drugs appeared to find the check device. You will have to study the substance with a spectrograph. Recall that the difficulty differs depending on how far you have progressed in the storyline.

In this particular puzzle, there will be reductive lines that can cancel out absorption lines, making the solution more difficult. The substance on the left has two lines next to the left side, and you can match it up by adding the first piece with three lines, and the third piece with a reduction line in the middle. To thwart Tombstone’s plans, you need to make your own counter drug. But that will be in the next mission.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Tombstone: Ready…

  • In which area to take the task: Harlem
  • When the quest appears: after completing the previous side mission.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

The final chapter in the Tombstone saga is available after you get the tracking chip from MJ and complete the previous mission. The new task will be available in the center of Harlem, next to one of the main bridges leading from New York. Getting down to business, you will find yourself in a fight with the invulnerable Tombstone, who sells drugs. Stay away from his giant sledgehammer, which he will constantly attack the ground with. As a result of this attack, shock waves will disperse in different directions, and you will have to jump up to dodge them.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Try to dodge all three hits and jump over the shockwave, then land a few attacks of your own before backing away – or throw something at him for a stun. Additional enemies will appear shortly, so you will need to switch to them.

Keep a good distance from the Tombstone (its shockwave can damage normal enemies) and jump back and forth to attack the approaching enemies. Watch out for bikers who can knock you off your feet. Throw motorcycles at them and get ready to take on the temporarily invulnerable thugs with a last hit or shock web.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Once all the thugs have been eliminated, continue to dodge Tombstone’s chain attack. Jump over the shock wave and attack with a jump kick. Use your instant attacks whenever possible. Once you deal enough damage to an enemy, Spidey will force him to take the medicine you created.

In the next step, Tombstone will use whips in the form of burning chains. As you can imagine, this weapon has an incredibly large range of destruction. He will show off some powerful three-hit combos that you need to dodge. Watch out for the last hit, which is more dangerous than the rest.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Since the enemy is very vulnerable, attack him immediately after dodging a three-hit combo or throw some items to stun him. You will have enough time to make your own combo. But then quickly dodge. Don’t try to jump towards him as he will just knock Spider-Man away instead. Be patient and wait for the right moment to attack. Use concentration to restore health. In the end, you will prevail and the mission will be completed.

Negative classmates

  • In which area to take the task: Greenwich
  • When the quest appears: after completing the “Spider Hack” story mission.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

After completing the story mission “Spider Hack” in the Oscorp building, a new side mission will appear in ESU in Greenwich. Head to the north end of campus to talk to a student named Philip Chang who can’t find his roommate who went missing after the Halloween attack.

He found a recent photo of his roommate on social media. Apparently, the guy is in some place with a view of the Statue of Liberty and some trees. You need to head to the south of the Financial District (south of your current location). You should find a place with a rooftop view with two gazebos taken from a balcony nearby.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

You’ll find this location on the rooftop of a two-story building northwest of the Battery Park Landmark. When you get there, you will find even more enemies. Like the ones you’ve fought in ESU, they aren’t particularly strong, but they can still deal damage – especially since you can become vulnerable the moment you knock down an enemy and pin them to the floor. If you do not want to be attacked at this moment, use the web, normal or shock, to stick enemies to the walls. Once you deal with everyone, you can catch up with Carlos and complete the side mission.

tick tock

  • In which area to take the task: Greenwich
  • When the quest appears: after completing the previous side mission.
  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

This mission will appear after you complete the previous side mission. It is taken from the same quest giver, Philip Chang, located in the courtyard of the university, opposite the place where you found him last time. He found more distraught students and was able to pinpoint the exact location. You need to look for them somewhere near the railway. You will see a photo of Ethan, the missing student, who is somewhere in the Harlem area, on the elevated train tracks heading towards the bridge. You can find this stop when traveling to East Harlem. Look on the map for a lone bridge on this side of the area.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

You can go through Midtown to the Upper East Side, where you will eventually notice the subway exit and elevated tracks. You can even take a train and ride it through Harlem to your desired station. Once you arrive at the right point, find the scene of the accident below you, and the injured man will give some clues as to where the students have gone. Keep running north to find the crazed guys chasing people in the alley.

You will again have to fight a bunch of madmen, although many of them will be busy terrorizing people, which makes the battle easier. This place is full of scaffolding that you can bring down on your enemies by holding L1 + R1. Or you can attack enemies with a shock web. As you turn the corner, get ready for more crazy students. Throw a web bomb to blow up most of them (fly off into the nearest walls) and finish off the rest before breaking through the nearest door and saving the last guy. After finding Ethan, you will complete the task.

  • Reward: 1500 experience points.

This mission will require you to complete the two previous side quests in Greenwich. After them, you will find that Philip Chang has another side mission. Look for him on the territory of ESU, in the western part of the location. Philip found another ESU student, Steve Hopkins, after seeing his photo on social media. It shows a lawn full of bikers and several greenhouses. It appears to be a park area on the Upper West Side, so head west and up along the water. As you pass the Hell’s Kitchen Docks, you will see a park area on the Upper West Side – head to the center of the park to find the student’s last known location.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

As expected, Steve is in trouble with the Tombstone gang and you need to help him by taking out the bikers in the area. There are several armed enemies here, so quickly jump to the post and tie the nearest biker. After that, move to the one on the left to neutralize the enemy. The next lone enemy is by the building on the left side – sneak up and silently kill him. Then do the same with the bandit on the other side of the building. Finally, rush to the lamppost on the northern outskirts to catch the last bandit with a weapon.

Now that the odds are even, throw a web bomb at the enemies that attacked Steve. You can use gadgets to stick enemies to walls and objects. Or throw their own motorcycles at them. Once you’ve dealt with the bikers, pin Steve to the ground to complete the mission.

This side mission continues a long chain of quests related to missing ESU students. You need to complete the previous three quests in order to subsequently find Philip Chang in the western part of ESU. Not everyone returned to ESU, Philip says, and he found another photo on social media pointing to a location near the Brooklyn Bridge. You’ll find this location in the southeast corner of the Financial District, so head towards the bridge.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

As you get closer, you will find that the distraught students under the overpass of the bridge are attacking a fuel truck. You need to quickly deal with them. Luckily, you can stick enemies directly to the fuel truck. Attack the first group with a web bomb, and almost all opponents will stick to the object. Finish off the stragglers with a shock web, then move to the other side and use another bomb. Anyone who remains unharmed must be finished off manually. When you deal with all opponents, the mission will be completed.

The final task from this chain will be available after the four previous missions. Philip Chang can be found again at ESU Greenwich, among a group of students on the West Side. It seems that the football team has also suffered from filth, no one has seen its members for a long time. Fortunately, the quarterback has been spotted outside of ESU, not far from your current position. Turn around and run into the park to find the distraught students fighting the cops.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

A massive battle will begin. Deal with the enemies at the edges first, and then go to the center of the park and throw a bomb into the cluster of opponents. You can use an electric web or throw various garbage at them.

As you eliminate targets, more enemies will appear. Use all the gadgets you can find in Peter’s pockets to stun enemies. Web bombs will help you deal with a lot of enemies at once, and the spider drone will have your back while you focus on destroying the Brute.

  • Reward: 3000 experience points.

After you save MJ in the Sable compound in the quest “Uninvited”, you can find a new side mission in the Financial District. The police arrested the demon. The sniper they caught was not alone. Maybe he works with other snipers killing people in different parts of the city. The first target listed on the map is the nearest courthouse to the northwest.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

When you arrive at the scene, you will find that the shooter is already aiming at someone. If he notices you, he will instantly shoot, so stay close to the building on the left side and move to him on the web. As soon as the lightning icon appears, click on the “triangle” to stun the enemy. After taking out the sniper, you will receive a message about the location of three more enemies in the Financial District. You will have only two and a half minutes to destroy them all. Look for one of them in the south, just behind the city hall, on the corner of a low platform of a skyscraper.

Another sniper can be found to the west. He watches the pier and boats on the west side of the building. The enemy is located quite low. Don’t forget to use the mini-map and special vision to highlight his position.

The last sniper is in the northwest corner of the Financial District, in the building east of the tall skyscraper. Look for him in the northern part of the building. In addition, he is the only one surrounded by normal enemies. It is impossible for any of them to notice you and hand you over to the sniper. Move to the billboards on the western side of the roof and instantly attack the sniper to kill him before everyone else sees you. Then turn around and throw a web bomb or electric web to incapacitate the rest of the opponents. Finish off those who survived the explosion.

After talking to the police, you will learn that the Demons have a backup plan and they are holding hostages in Battery Park. They will let them go in exchange for the release of the criminal. Head to the southern edge of the Financial District to find the attraction – Battery Park. Here you will see the hostages being held in the arena. Three snipers aim at them from different directions. The territory is patrolled by thugs. It’s time to turn on the available stealth-oriented suit mods – bioscanner and silent step.

Move to the left side. Wait for one of the patrolling Demons to rise before attacking the first sniper from behind. Then jump to his partner. Move along the outskirts and use the pillars to successfully attack the targets. Strike when the patrolling Demons are not looking at the snipers.

After taking out the snipers and patrolling demons around the perimeter, move to the flagpole in the middle of the park and note the 4 demons below. The two are talking to each other, one is facing the hostages and the other is standing off to the side and looking at the two Demons. Deal with the latter first. Then jump down to the roof of a small square building overlooking two Demons. Hit the nearby trash can to distract them. Deal with one of them, finish off the second.

The last enemy, who is watching the hostages, will not pay attention to what is happening. He doesn’t stand a chance! When all the Demons are destroyed and the hostages are saved, you will complete the next side task.

  • In which area to take the task: Hell’s Kitchen
  • When the quest appears: after completing the story mission “The One That Got Away”.
  • Reward: 3000 experience points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

After defeating Mister Negative in The One That Got Away, you will be able to start a new side mission. To do this, move to the Hell’s Kitchen police station. Apparently, one of the cops agreed with John Jameson, believing you were in league with Fisk. He cites a lack of evidence. By tracking the chips, you will register a radar signal pointing to the northeast of Hell’s Kitchen. When you arrive at the scene, you will see a team of nine Fisk thugs examining the evidence from the car.

Since you have the element of surprise on your side, use it to your advantage and jump towards the spotlights above the nearest thug. Deal with him and then take out the other thug on top of the shipping container. From the container, jump along the right wall to the lamppost and then to the sniper watching the area.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Kill the bandit guarding the end of the alley and do the same with the two enemies at the black car. It remains to deal with the thugs at the main machine. You can sneak up on them and suddenly attack them, or throw a web bomb.

If it seemed to you that this mission is so simple, you are mistaken. Fisk’s men don’t give up without a fight. Return the evidence, after which Fisk’s men attack the department with two rocket launchers. Dodge the incoming projectiles, then run to the side of the building and attack the installations before the enemies have time to reload them and fire again.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Below you can see two cars full of thugs. They move to the parking lot of the police station. Climb down and attack the opponents. Use Web Bombs or Shock Web to stick enemies directly to their vehicles. Or throw doors from these cars at them. When someone shoots at you, you can jump over the thug so that they themselves get under fire.

Having dealt with the opponents from below, eliminate the enemies on the roof. A large gang has surrounded the cop on the roof – so use a powerful attack, a web bomb or a stun explosion to quickly eliminate most targets. After destroying the gang on the roof, you will complete the task.

Brigadier part 1

  • Requirement: Complete 5 different Brigadier challenges and get 1000 experience points.

Upon first meeting the mysterious Taskmaster and his challenge boxes, he will offer to complete several challenges scattered throughout the city. To begin with, there will only be bomb and drone challenges, but once you complete one of them, there will also be stealth challenges and mundane combat. After completing 5 different challenges of any type (no matter what rating), move through the city. Taskmaster attacks you on his own.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

First, it’s important to note that technically you don’t have to beat him – he’s just testing you, and you can actually beat him or force him to retreat by earning 1000 experience points. If you lose, you get nothing. Taskmaster is a deadly opponent. His superpower lies in the ability to mimic any type of attack after seeing it. And he watched you for a very long time! Thus, be prepared for the fact that he uses your own tricks against you. O can shoot webs, swing his legs, perform combos and perform unblockable instant takedowns that will take a lot of health points.

The brigadier does not forget about defense either. It can block any gadget you have. Because of this, there are only two ways to defeat him – use the web and whatever you can find in the environment, or wait for him to lunge at you, perform a perfect dodge to stun the enemy, and perform your own combo. Don’t attack for too long, as he recovers quickly and can block any additional attacks and then counterattack you. Or he can use his stun ropes against you. If this happens, click on the “square” several times to free yourself from the shackles.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

During the fight, he will often pounce on you, pulling out his energy sword at the last moment. Therefore, watch your spider sense and dodge in a timely manner. Focus on healing. Don’t forget about the different powers of the unlocked suits. For example, a quadruple strike.

Usually the battle starts somewhere on the roof. You can drop down to the lower street and the enemy will follow you (often teleporting in a cloud of smoke to reappear somewhere nearby and deal an instant hit). So if you see him disappear, be prepared to dodge when he reappears.

Keep dealing damage and Taskmaster will finally disappear. He will say that if you continue to complete all of his tests, then fight again. If you lose, you will hear the same words, but you won’t get experience points. However, you can continue the quest. If you want to meet the Brigadier again, then complete all of his tests (16 in total).

Fight the Brigadier: Part 2

  • Requirement: Complete all 16 Taskmaster challenges.
  • Reward: 2500 experience points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

After the previous battle with Taskmaster, which began as a result of completing five trials, regardless of whether you win or lose, he will offer a rematch provided that all of his trials are completed. To fight in the final round, you need to complete all 16 challenges (the rating received for completing them does not matter). After completing the last test and trying to move around the city, you will again be ambushed, activating the final confrontation.

Taskmaster has many different attacks that can alternate between powerful kicks or uppercuts leading to stuns, combos, sudden sword swings. He can jump into the air and crash into the ground, creating a shock wave. While you can dodge most of these attacks, you can’t do it with a shockwave. Instead, be prepared to jump.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

Since it can mimic all your movements, the Brigadier will be able to cling to any surrounding objects, and you will have only a few seconds to dodge or grab the object and knock it back by holding L1 + R1. If he hits you, the screen will be temporarily blurred, making it harder to deflect his future attacks.

He can also aim at you with his wrist launcher, which allows you to shoot a web or rope that holds you in one place. Please note that none of your gadgets will have any effect on the Brigadier, he will freely deflect any web shots and hits, provided that he was not stunned. However, various modifications and skills to the suit still work, so you can use abilities like Spider Flower or Arms Race to stun him, activate Battle Focus to heal him, or apply “quadruple damage” bringing the end of the battle closer.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

When doing your own combos, keep an eye on his movements: after a block, he always counterattacks. Therefore, quickly dodge back so as not to get under the hand. Like last time, the best way to win this fight is to let the enemy make the first turn, dodge at the last moment (perfect dodge) or throw items at him, flashbang grenades, and then attack him while the boss is stunned. While he is stunned, you can toss him into the air and perform long combos.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Side Quest Walkthrough

If you try to move away from him for some distance or move to another place, watch out for stun grenades or ropes that he uses against you to sneak attack. Be prepared to dodge. If he manages to defeat you, he will express his displeasure and order you to complete one more test before setting up an ambush again. If you manage to defeat him, he will stop bothering you and provide cryptic information about the people who hired him to spy on you. You will also earn quite a few experience points.
