Magenta

Magenta . When the cones sensitive to long and short waves (R and A) are excited at the same time; the resulting visual sensation corresponds to magenta.

Magenta is a color composed of two wavelengths: one from the red zone and the other from the violet zone , each at both ends of what is known as the visible spectrum. What our brain does is interpret what it is seeing by inventing a color between red and purple.

Magenta is a color that resembles fuchsia, although more intense, turning to violet. The word ‘magenta’ is an Italian word inspired by the battle that occurred in the town of Magenta on June 4 , 1859 , alluding to the dark color of the spilled blood. Magenta is explained when the cones sensitive to long and short waves (R and A) are excited at the same time; the resulting visual sensation corresponds to magenta. The yellow , magenta and cyan are called subtractive primaries, as are the reverse of additives. Magenta contains all radiations (R and A) except green (V). Then it can be defined as the “no green ” or negative of green .

Its meaning

When one feels discouraged or worried about their position, or feels angry or frustrated, the magenta color takes us out of our feeling or attitude and allows our spirit to emerge. It is a spiritual color, but also with practical allusions, associated with compassion, help and kindness. From a negative point of view, magenta is like violet, it makes us feel the desire to withdraw from the demands of the world and avoid challenges. In a way, it can also become too relaxing. So, you should avoid magenta if you have continuous depressions or are introverted.

These colors are associated with the signs libra and sagittarius. Magenta keywords: delivery, help, kindness, calm, creativity, independence, dignity, serenity
