- Josh McDowell . American evangelical Christian apologist, evangelist, and writer . He has written about 77 books . He was born in Union City, Michigan in 1939 under the name Joslin. He studied at Biola University Talbot Theological Seminary in La Mirada, California , published a thesis examining the theology of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and earned a Master of Divinity degree. In 1982 he was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws by the Simon Greenleaf School of Law , in recognition of his ministry and his work as a writer..
- Bob Hostetler is a writer, editor, pastor, and lecturer in Southwest Ohio . His twenty-six books, which include this award-winning Don’t Leave Your Brain at the Door, (co-authored with Josh McDowell) and the novel , The Bone Box , have sold more than 3 million copies. He has won two awards of the Medal of Gold , three prizes of Ohio Associated Press, and Amy Prize Foundation, and is a speaker frequently at conferences and retreats around the world . It serves as pastor of leadership and teaching of the Church Cobblestone, growing communityin Oxford , Ohio, the home of the University of Miami . He and his wife Robin have two sons, Aubrey and Aaron.
