Love suffers for a long time and is kind; love does not envy; love does not flow, it is not inflated; he does not behave rudely, he does not seek his own pleasure, he is not tantrum, he does not think badly; he does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; everything supports, everything believes, everything hopes, everything supports. The love never fails.”
Imagine two friends who have a fight or disagreement. The good relationship they had now is tense to the point of getting very close to a breakup. They stopped talking to each other, and the communication was very different. Friends gradually become strangers to each other. This separation can only be reversed by reconciliation. Reconciling is restoring affection or harmony. When old friends resolve their differences and restore their relationship, reconciliation occurs.

Reconciliation is one of the most important truths of Christianity
First, the author of the reconciliation is God Himself: “God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, everything comes from God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ” (2 Cor 5: 18-19). In sacred history we see the beauty of the offended person who seeks the offender. Since God is holy, the responsibility is all ours. Our sin separates us from God.
Romans 5,10 says that we were enemies of God: “For if we, when enemies, were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, being already reconciled, we will be saved by his life.” The man rejected God, and that God seeks that rebellious man to be reconciled with him. “God never tires of forgiving ” (Pope Francis). Reconciliation is putting oneself in the face of broken relationships, to let sincere pleasures spring up.
Where there is no reconciliation, it bleeds like ink in the rain; colorless withered flowers in our ashes. Reconciliation must be tireless. It is possible and, when well experienced, brings joy, healing and a renewed sense of belonging. Rebuilding relationships requires emotional work and the willingness of each person involved. Restoring relationships with family members can often seem like an impossible task. The pain is very great! The other did not apologize! However, people are surprised when the path to healing leads to new beginnings. Only by bowing to the God of grace and comfort do we dress our wounded soul with salvation and plant, with beauty, confidence and charity, the fertile gardens of reconciliation. “Reconciliation always brings a springfor the soul ”(Brother Roger). Giving a piece of yourself to others, as God gave his only Son to the world, is the reason for this time. Allow yourself to be one who truly reflects God’s heart in the family and in the world. This is the time to start! When we expel remorse, great is the sweetness that flows in the chest.
What are the fruits of reconciliation?
Reconciliation is a decision that is made in the heart and brings the fruits of repentance , which are very sweet. Recognize mistakes and release all tension, anger; all tears. There is no reason why these tears should be kept. Reopen the arms and welcome everyone who had depopulated the heart. God “gave us the ministry of reconciliation” (5.18). He gave us the diakonia of reconciliation!
.: Learn to exercise forgiveness every day of your life
.: Forgiveness is not born out of our feeling
.: Is there a way to reconciliation?
.: The Sacrament of Reconciliation
Rescue. To restore. To recover. Turn back. Renew. Resurrect. Each of these words begins with the prefix “RE”, which means to return to an original condition that has been ruined or lost. God always sees us in the light of what He intended us to be and He always seeks to restore us to that purpose. His arms embrace us, His joy fills our hearts. With Him at our side, we feel the broken pieces begin to realign.
The reconciliation ministry has already started and we are involved in that. This is extraordinarily good news, because it means that, even in the midst of present suffering, we can be confident that God’s reconciling power will prevail. We can breathe again.
Now is a very acceptable time; now is the day of salvation. Thank God!
“Reconciliation is the beauty that gives life peace. The gentle rhythm of the water as it flows over the rocks. The intense brightness of the sun shining on the earth. The clouds that dance and float in the air. Reconciliation is eternal and pure. The wind that whispers through the leaves. Song of the bird that fills spaces. Fill the hearts. The lullaby that brings the child’s joy. Reconciliation is innocent and precious. Reconciliation is remarkable and timeless. The last fragment of hope for peace. True reconciliation is the beauty that brings peace to life. ”
