How to use WBFS Manager

If you want to copy the games on the Nintendo Wii console , on a USB stick or hard disk, here you can use the WBFS Manager program , downloadable in the versions: WBFS Manager 32 bit , WBFS Manager 64 bit .

Format device with WBFS Manager

Once you have downloaded the version that reflects your system, open the downloaded zip file and start the setup.exe program . In the window that appears, click Yes , then Next , then proceed accepting the license terms. Install and then Next > Done , to conclude the process. Once this is done, open the program and select, under Device , the USB hard disk drive to format. By doing so, all the data on your portable hardware will be deleted and you can proceed by copying the Wii games.

Please Note: Once the device has been formatted, it can no longer be used without WBFS Manager support, unless it is reformatted using your PC.

Add games with WBFS Manager

Insert the device into the PC, but do not format it. Start WBFS Manager and then Device > Load . In the interface, on the right, click on Search , then select the ISO file of the game you want to copy, from PC. Displayed in the WBFS Manager interface , click the Add to Disk button or and then wait for the procedure to finish.

Delete games from WBFS Manager

To expand the space on the device, it is a good idea to delete the games you no longer use, always using WBFS Manager . Open the program, Peripherals , Load and then from the right column, click the Delete button to make space on the peripheral.

Extract games from the device with WBFS Manager

To be able to extract the ISO files from the device to the PC, for example to burn a DVD, you can always use WBFS Manager . Open the program, always go to the Peripherals column and then Reload Peripheral List > Load . From here click on the game you want to export and click on Extract ISO , choose the folder to save it and then click Save .

Start games from WBFS Manager formatted device

To play the games on the USB device formatted with WBFS Manager , a channel must be installed in the modified Wii with support for applications such as Wiiflow and USB Gx Loader.
