How to unlock all side stories in DDLC Plus

Perhaps the defining feature of Doki Doki Literature Club Plus is the addition of side stories. These add significantly to the runtime of the game when combined with the campaign. However, they are not immediately accessible and you will have to unlock them through the main campaign. This is how you unlock all the side stories in DDLC Plus.

How to unlock all side stories in DDLC Plus

The side stories are an extension of the history of the Doki Doki Literature Club. They show how the club under Monika was formed before she had her epiphany in the events of the main campaign.

These vignettes are surprisingly heartfelt, poignant, and quite different from the main campaign, which is a welcome break for anyone who just wants the Dokis to be happy for once. They miss the MC, and you just watch what happens without telling stories or making decisions.

To unlock all eight, you only need to write poems for each of the main characters besides Monika. Do a part where you just focus on writing Sayori poems, then Yuri, then Natsuki. At the end of this effort, you will have access to Part 1 of All Side Stories. Part 2, on the other hand, is unlocked by watching Part 1.

Once you have unlocked all the side stories in DDLC Plus, start viewing them in chronological order from Trust Part 1 and you will see everything unfold in the correct order.

After watching all the DDLC Plus side stories (Trust, Understanding, Respect, Balance, Reflection and Self Love), you will unlock a bonus called Equals that will close this bonus campaign.

That’s all you need to know for how to unlock all the sub-stories in DDLC Plus . To get more DDLC Plus, read our rated review. If you’re confused about some of the new features, check out our guide to the new game desktop.
