How to Send Video Via Gmail on Android Phone

There are many ways that we can use to send videos to other people.

If we want to send a video to a friend who is beside us, then we can use bluetooth or an application like ShareIt .

But what if we want to send videos to people who are far away?

Actually there are many ways that we can use. One of the most popular and easiest ways is to email the video .

And since Gmail is one of the most popular email services today, you can be sure that you and your friends have Gmail accounts.

Therefore, in this Androbuntu tutorial I will give a tutorial on how to send videos via Gmail .

How to Send Videos via Gmail on Android Phone

Make sure you are logged into your Gmail account. If not, try logging in first. And if so, continue by following the method below:

1. First, open the Gmail application on your Android phone or iPhone.
2. After that, create a new emailby tapping the Composebutton in the lower right corner of the application.
3. Next, Buddy Androbuntu fill in all the available fields. Starting from the recipient’s emailaddress , subject to the body of the email. Then tap the button with the spiral logo in the top right corner to access the Attachments menu .
4. Then tap the Attach filemenu that appears after you tap the spiral logo button.
5. Then please Friend Androbuntu select which video you want to send. You can select 1 or more videosat once. When the video is selected, click the Donebutton .
6. If the video appears in Gmail, it means the video has been uploadedsuccessfully and the video is ready to be sent. Tap the Sendbutton with the triangle logo in the top-right corner of the Gmail app.
7. Then the emailwill be sent immediately. To check whether the emailwas actually sent or not, tap the Sent menu .
8. If the emailwas in the list of sent emails, that’s a sign that the email was sent.

Note: Gmail limits the size of videos that can be sent, which is no more than 25mb.

If the video you want to send is larger than 25mb, you can use the second method below.

How to Send Videos Via Gmail More Than 25mb

In this second way, we actually only use the cloud application as a place to store videos that we want to send via Gmail .

Then we will send the link from the video via Gmail so that the recipient can download the video.

There are several cloud applications that I recommend, namely Dropbox, Mega and Google Drive.

But in this tutorial I’m going to use Dropbox to send large videos via Gmail. Please register for Dropbox via this link .

Androbuntu friends can follow the steps below:

1. Please open the Dropbox application on your Android. Then uploadthe large video that you want to send via Gmail. You can read the full tutorial here.
2. After the video is finished uploadingto Dropbox, click the three dotsnext to the video name.
3. There will be many options that appear. Please click Copy link.
4. Then a message will appear . This link has been pasted. That means, the link or linkfrom the video has been copied .

The next step that you need to do is paste the link into Gmail.

When the email recipient clicks on the video link , he or she can view the video and download it. This is one of the best ways to send large videos via Gmail.
