Many women have joined the new “challenge” of the network, participating in the Women Supporting Women challenge which invites you to publish your own photo in black and white, tag the people who invited you to participate (or those you intend to involve), complete with dedicated hashtag. The purpose? Raise awareness of female solidarity and transmit positivity.
#WomenSupportingWomen: challenge accepted
” Challenge Accepted “, the phrase that can be read in the captions / captions of the black and white photos posted on Instagram, means ” challenge accepted “. The hashtag #womensupportingwomen clarifies the adhesion to the awareness campaign in which celebrities such as Cindy Crawford, Vanessa Bryant, Jennifer Garner, Kristen Bell, Eva Longoria, Chiara Ferragni are also participating, just to name a few.
How to join the women’s chain on Instagram
If you have been invited : in this case it is likely that you have received a message via Direct or a tag to a photo of a person who participated and who therefore nominated you. In this case, if you like to take part in the challenge, all you have to do is publish a black and white photo of yourself on the feed of your Instagram profile.
In the caption you must write “Challenge Accepted” and tag the person who invited you to participate. Don’t forget to enter the hashtag #womensupportingwomen (many also refer to #WomenEmpowerment as a hashtag).
If you want to start the challenge / invite women to participate: post a black and white photo of yourself on the feed. Indicate “Challenge Accepted” in the description (even if you have not been invited by a particular person, you are still participating in a worldwide challenge) and enter the hashtag #womensupportingwomen (if you want also #WomenEmpowerment). If you like, you can also tag your friends / women to invite them to participate. Otherwise you can leave the caption untagged.
In both cases, in the caption, you can add a text or a phrase to your liking. But try to stay in line with the theme of the challenge, namely support between women.
