The Sims 4 gives you kids for your Sims, but it also burdens you with taking care of those sensitive young Sims. A babysitter can certainly help, but they end up leaving your lot and making childcare your problem again. How to make them stay? Read below to see options both with and without mods.
How to get a babysitter with accommodation without mods in The Sims 4

Technically, you can’t have a live babysitter for your Sims without using mods in The Sims 4, but there are a few workarounds that technically work. Both are not completely satisfying, which means they might not be what you imagined. However, they can be reliable methods for players who don’t want mods in their game.
Hire a Butler
As long as you have the Vintage Glamor Pack, you can hire a butler through your Sim’s phone to take care of your kids. You will need a room and a bed for them, otherwise the Butler will not appear. By default, butlers help with childcare, but mostly do housework. If you click on the butler, you can change his settings to only take care of children. However, the Butler can act up and ignore kids from time to time, so be careful not to ignore little Sims completely.

If you want a real nanny to live in your house, you can try to hire one and then lock the doors (or remove them completely) to force them to take care of the kids. This can go wrong, as sometimes the nanny just walks off the lot, disappearing.
Some players have had better luck doing it with the Free Services Trait earned in the Reward Store. Other players have also commented that it works better by adding a nanny as a roommate (although this didn’t work for me).

How to get a babysitter with mods in The Sims 4
If you want a fully functional nanny with accommodation in The Sims 4, your best bet is the LittleMsSam Maid & Gardener Service mod. Download this mod and unzip the folder before moving the files to the Mods folder on your PC. Launch the game and go to Sim Phone . Select Hire a residential service and then Hire a live-in babysitter . Make sure you have a bed for your babysitter sim to sleep in (and assign them a bed).
