To unlock the highest levels of crafting in Valheim, you will need to create the Crafting Table. This part of the update requires you to face one of the toughest bosses in the game and it will take you to heights that you may not have yet explored. How to get the handmade table in Valheim
To get the Artisan Table you must defeat Moder, the boss of the Mountain biome. This mighty dragon can only be summoned by collecting three dragon eggs and sacrificing them at the altar in the region. There are three spaces on this altar, each requiring a dragon egg.
If you haven’t found the mountain biome yet, you’ll need to do a little exploring first and probably make a lot of improvements before taking on this challenge. You can find the location of the altar by using the runestone in the center of the map.
Moder is a really tough fight, requiring you to dodge his frozen shots while in midair, then avoid claw strikes as you head to land hits as he lands. Make sure you are prepared before you start, and ideally bring some friends along for the battle as well. We recommend stocking up on arrows for this one.
If you manage to defeat Moder, you’ll want to loot his body to claim the dragon tears he spews. Collecting a Dragon Tear will unlock the recipe from the Valheim Artistan table, although it is not the only item required.
To create the craft table in Valheim, you will need the following:
2 x dragon tear
10 x wood
With the amount of work Dragon Tears need to pull off, gathering 10 Wood shouldn’t be a problem for you at this point.
Gather your ingredients, equip your hammer, and head to your workbench to create the Craft Table in Valheim. Once it’s ready, simply place it inside a building and you can get to work creating the Blast Furnace, one of the most handcrafted tools in Valheim. In addition, now you can also build a windmill and a spinning wheel.
