with a group

  1. Go to the Zoom website.

  3. In the navigation pane, click on “User Management”and then select the “Group Management” option.
  4. Then, you will need to click on the name of the group you want to activate the feature and then click on the “Meeting” tab.
  5. In the “Security” section, you need to check that the “Waiting room” option is enabledfor the group you have selected, and if the setting is disabled, you just need to click the button to enable the waiting room function . In the event that a verification dialog is displayed, you just have to click on ”Activate”.
  6. In the case that the waiting room option is in a gray color, it means that it is blocked at the account level.
  7. To specify the options of your waiting room, you must click on “Edit options”, and you will be able to make the modifications you see fit.
  8. If you want this configuration to be mandatory for all usersof this group, you just have to click on the ”Lock” icon, and to confirm the configuration you must click on “Block”.
