Heuristic procedures
The psychology of learning has shown that if students appropriate procedures that support the conscious performance of demanding mental activities, then they can achieve much better results in independent problem solving. Procedures with these properties are called heuristic procedures. Heuristics is a scientific discipline applicable in all sciences and includes the elaboration of principles, strategies, rules and programs that facilitate the search for the solution path for problems, that is, for non-algorithmic tasks of any type and of any scientific domain or practical.
