Men and women often wonder if they are attractive to members of the opposite sex.
Many women find that making a man notice you is as simple as wearing light clothes or smelling a certain way. However, recent studies show that male attraction is more complex than a miniskirt and luxury perfume. For example, wearing a certain color might be more attractive than wearing light clothing.

Women who wear certain types of makeup
Although men find a woman who wears makeup attractive , it matters more what type of cosmetic and where it is applied. Dating and app website Zoosk recently analyzed the profiles of 1,200 women to find out if men really prefer the “all-natural” look or if they want a woman with makeup.
Women who wore eyeshadow were 139% more likely to receive messages from men compared to women who did not use them. The use of lipstick also gave users 119% more probability. On the other hand, a survey of 1,800 Zoosk users revealed that men were less likely to send messages to a woman with dark or colored makeup because they did not “look” natural.
Women with a proportionate waist
A woman’s body is an essential part. In particular, the ratio of the circumference of your waist to that of your hips, also known as the waist-hip ratio. Not only do men correlate the waist-hip ratio with overall health, they also connect it with fertility.
Evidence also shows that the waist-to-hip ratio is a strong indicator of a woman’s estrogen levels, the risk of obesity, susceptibility to serious diseases such as diabetes, ovarian cancer, and heart disease. The optimal waist-hip ratio, calculated by measuring the waist circumference just above the upper hip bone and dividing it by the hip circumference at its widest point, is considered 0.7 for women and 0.9 for the men.
Women wearing red
A colorful dress, especially red, is absolutely attractive to the male eye. Psychologists from the University of Rochester showed the men a series of photos of women in red or white and asked, “How pretty do you think this person is?”
In the second part of the experiment, they showed the same image but only the woman’s shirt was red or blue: “Imagine you are going on a date with this person and you have $ 100 in your wallet. Willing to spend on your date ? ” Red-framed women were significantly more likely to be considered attractive or sexually desirable and men to spend more money on one night with them.
Nice women
Much has been said that women get bad boys . But the same does not happen in the opposite direction. A recent study published in the Personality and Social Psychology Newsletter confirmed that a man’s responsiveness, or support of his needs and wants, matter very little to women during their initial romantic encounter.
For the man’s eyes, the attraction came from the woman’s femininity. That was an indicator to decide to keep a short relationship or a stable relationship.
Women with a sweet voice
Vocal attraction plays an important role in both sexes. Research shows that while women want a man with a deeper voice, men find a more attractive high-pitched voice in women.
Like animal calls, emotions expressed by human voices transmit body size to the listener. So when a woman hears a man in a deep voice, she associates her with a larger stature. Conversely, when men hear a woman in a high-pitched voice they associate it with a more proportionate body.
