During the Nindies Spring 2019 showcase, Studio MDHR surprisingly announced the arrival of Cuphead Switch . Let’s find out all the details.
Cuphead Switch: details of the announcement
In these minutes, new details about the announcement of the MDHR Studio arrive: Cuphead will arrive on Nintendo Switch both in digital and physical format. And some technical features also emerge: Cuphead for Switch will run at 720p in portable mode and 1080p in dock mode (in both cases with framerate stable at 60 fps).
Support for multiplayer in portable mode using two Joy-Con or one Joy-Con and one Pro Controller has also been confirmed . Cuphead will also have the Xbox Live feature available on Nintendo Switch (a sign of an ever closer collaboration between Microsoft and Nintendo).
Cuphead will be playable at the PAX East in Boston scheduled for the end of March: the participants of the event will be able to test this porting before the launch. But when will this happen?
Cuphead Switch: release date
Cuphead will be released on Nintendo Switch on April 19 in digital version. However, it is not yet clear whether the physical format will arrive on the same day or if it will be available later together with a Collector’s or Limited Edition. The price is $ 19.99 , with pre-order already open on Nintendo eShop.
