He was born in Stuttgart , Germany . [1] His father’s name is John and he is a taxi driver. Her mother is named Ady and she is a biomedical scientist. He has a sister named Sara who also plays tennis. Bernard started playing tennis at the age of seven, his favorite surface is grass and he is considered by many to be Australia’s best player since Lleyton Hewitt . His idols were Pete Sampras , among others. His hobbies are playing basketball , soccer, and table tennis . His favorite music groups are Eminem and 50 Cent .
Junior career
In 2004, 2006 and 2007 he won the titles Orange Bowl categories 12, 14 and 16 Tomic shows his class in his third victory of the Orange Bowl | url one of the most prestigious events in the junior tour.
Playing his first singles tournament on the junior tour in 2006, Tomic entered Sunsmart 18 and Under Canterbury , and won the title by beating Samuel Vonton-Boot of New Zealand 6-3 6-2 in the final.
