You can change the cost of a cheap item, such as a small laser, sell it, and then reduce the cost again.
- Change to the following folder:
- YourSteamInstallationFolder\steamapps\common\
- BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\StreamingAssets data\weapon\
- Open the “Weapon_Laser_SmallLaser_0-STOCK.json” file in a text editor,
- find: “Cost”: 20000,
- Enter and change it to a larger number, for example making 10 million, which is
- will give you 1 million C-Bills for selling back in the store.
- Don’t forget to change it later and always back up any files you edit just in case!
