Make a custom margin

  • Open the Word document you want to edit.
  • Click on the ‘Layout’ tab, and then click on the ‘Margins’ icon, and a menu of options will be displayed.
  • To customize your margins, click on the ‘Custom Margins’ option at the bottom of the margins options, and then a dialog box will open where you can custom set the margins in your Word document.
  • In the dialog box, click the ‘Margins’ tab, and you can modify the top, bottom, left and right margin.
  • Then at the bottom of the dialog box you can modify the option to apply to from now on or to the entire document.
  • Once you have modified the margins of your document, click on the ‘OK’ buttonto save the changes made to the margins of your Word document.
  • To customize the margins of the entire document from the web version, click on the ‘Custom Margins’ option, and a dialog box will open, where you can modify the top, bottom, left and right side of your document, then click click on the ‘OK’ button.
