How to view ‘System Information’ on my Windows PC?

When it comes to operating systems, we don’t always think of the word system, and all that it can encompass as long as if we add this to this operating system, it has more complexity. This is due to the fact that both words indicate to us that a system is a functional part of the movement and action of a different system , for this part we know that there are multiple parts that we do not know and much less do we know their quantity and specific work.

To have access to this information, we must use the same operating system through its interface , and there are many aspects that make up this system that we totally ignore, such as how important the GUI is in an operating system . In any case, in this article we will explore how to get information from the system without putting it at risk.

What data can be seen in the ‘System Information Dashboard’?

To be able to see what is part of the general system of the computer, we can make use of the System Information Panel. With this we can see in detail the components that are essential for the entire operation , also apart from knowing what these are; It gives us detailed information about each of the parts, but at a technical level, which means that we must have some knowledge to understand what these parts constitute.

We have three categories available to see the system, through the “System Information” Panel. Hardware Resources, Components, and around software is all that we can access through this panel here we will find out what is there. It can always happen that we need to know what each of these parts works for, in case we need adjustments or solve problems, let’s see below what each of these categories is about

hardware resources

We can observe the resources that the computer has with respect to what is related to input and output elements, and the system memory, is also cataloged together with Forced Hardware, which is the hardware that we cannot do without for operation. what would become the power or power source. The motherboard would become an essential resource because with it all the physical and logical parts of the system are connected.

Components

In this case, the components are those electronic parts, which can be internal and peripheral, to know how the Windows operating system works , we must be clear that without the components of the system, it would not have a place to reside to be able to execute the processes. necessary, for which the components are designed.

In this section we get what is related to network, storage units, screens, USB, Diskette and CD-ROM, modem, ports, printing among others, in this section we can have access to all the characteristics and details of these parts of the system .

software environment

The software is the functional logic part that determines what actions are going to be taken by all the processes, through the physical part of the computer, since this is the one that is included in programs that make it possible to carry out specific tasks by the hardware . In this section we find everything related to controllers, drivers, network connections, environment variables, services, modules, startup programs, error reports, among other aspects.

What are the methods I can follow to enter the ‘System Information’?

As for what are the methods that exist to see in detail the information that constitutes the components, we can access this part in various ways, which is known as the System Information . Here everything related to the state of the hardware is collected and is carried out by the logical part of the software.

We can access from the Start menu, from the run window, with the search box and from the toolbar , then we will see how each of these works , to be able to locate the part of the information that we are looking for, let’s see how it is done .
