- We go inside the ‘ internal memory’(depending on the manager the location of the steps may vary but the process is the same).
- Click on the 3 vertical points that are in the upper right part of the screen and click on ‘ create folder’and the one we will create we will name ‘audio’. Inside that folder we create another with the name of ‘media’. Now inside this we create another folder that we will call ‘notifications’.
- We are going to look for our song inside the file manager. We keep the MP3 pressedand go to ‘move’. Now we have to go to the last created ‘notifications’ folder to move the ‘MP3’ here. Select ‘move here’
- Now we go to the settings where we want to customize the notification tone. Here we will see that among all the predefined tones the MP3 that we have chosen already appears. Tap on it to set it as a notification ringtone.
What should you do to add personalized tones to each chat of your WhatsApp?
In case you want to modify the tone of a specific person from Android or iPhone, what you have to do is follow these steps:
from Android
All you have to do is go to the chat you want your message tone to be customized for, and look for the settings within it. You will look for the ‘customize notifications’ option and activate the ‘custom notifications’ box so that you can start configuring the tones for the chats you want.
with iPhone
You go to the chat that you want to customize the message notification, you are going to click on the name of the person and among the options you will look for ‘custom tone’ and select the one you want, only that by default you will not hear that one but the one you have as a tone for messages in general.
How to add a ringtone on WhatsApp with vibration?
You are going to go to the WhatsApp App and press the options of the three vertical points, you will look for the ‘settings’ option and then press ‘notifications’ slide to the end where the ‘call’ options appear where they will only give you two options : tone and vibration.
In tone you choose the one of your preference. And in vibration you choose if you want the vibration to be short, long, default or simply deactivate it.
