Silencing that recorded call notification on your Samsung Galaxy is easy and will allow you to keep your device free from this distraction every time you have or make a call from your cell phone, as this notification appears automatically after this event, in order to give you a direct access to the recording of that call right after you have hung up. Below, I show you how to do it step by step.
I should clarify that this notification cannot be disabled, meaning that it cannot appear after each call. It can only be silenced and the vibration it generates can be deactivated. Additionally, it can also be hidden from the lock screen, so that it is not displayed there in vain.
Steps to mute the Recorded Call notification
- Long Press on Notification Icon : First, locate the recorded call notification in the notification bar. Long press on the icon until the settings options appear.
- Access Settings : Once you have the options on screen, select “Settings.” This will take you to the specific settings for that notification.
- Mute Notifications : Within the settings menu, look for the “Mute Notifications” option and turn it on. This will ensure that you no longer receive audible and vibrating alerts from recorded calls.
Hide Notification on Lock Screen
As I said at the beginning, you cannot prevent the recorded call notification from appearing in the status bar, however, you can hide it on the lock screen. When you perform the above process, you will find the Lock screen notifications option right there. Leave the Hide content option selected .
Important : It is crucial to note that by enabling this setting, you will only silence the notification that the call was recorded. Incoming and outgoing calls will continue to ring normally.
Limitation
Unfortunately, it is not possible to completely remove the recorded call notification. However, these steps will help you minimize this interruption and not get distracted by thinking that you received a WhatsApp or message after every call.
