If you’re anything like me, chances are since the release of the 1.5 update for Project Slayers you’ve been scouring the internet for any information about the so-called “crafting system”, including how to use it and what it offers. In my research, I found that the use of the term “craft” is a little misleading and makes the whole concept a lot more confusing than it should be. In a nutshell, crafting has not been added to Project Slayers in the typical way that you and I probably think (e.g. an all-encompassing system covering the entire experience and using different recipes, materials, etc.), but rather belongs to a specific set weapons added with Update 1.5 are Devour and Polar weapons.
What is crafting in Project Slayers?
As mentioned above, crafting in Project Slayers is likely not what you would expect. Instead of having a full crafting system that allows players to collect materials and create different weapons or even gear like other anime do, Project Slayers instead uses what looks most like an upgrade system. That being said, however, it’s also important to note that only two sets of weapons can be crafted/upgraded with this system – Devouring Weapons (Devouring Katana, Devouring Fans, and Devouring Scythe) and Pole Weapons (Polar Katana, Polaris Fans, and Polaris Scythe).
How to craft weapons in Project Slayers
Once you have purchased any Devourer or Polaris weapon, it can be crafted/upgraded to a higher level using materials such as flayed hide, bloody ingots, ice metal, frost-infused cloth, etc. the higher the level of your weapon, the more powerful it will be and the better it will have a buff / passive effect.

Unfortunately, the exact requirements needed to upgrade this weapon at each of its tiers are currently unknown. However, I can list the requirements for buying/crafting each weapon in its unimproved/basic form, and then include some other unconfirmed information I gathered during my research. Some of the information in this list is missing or may change in the future, but I will be sure to update it to reflect the correct information as I learn more.

Where to craft in Project Slayers
Devouring weapons can be crafted/upgraded in the same place where they were purchased, in Jaws of the Devourer. Once there, you should see a blacksmith NPC – talk to this NPC to craft/upgrade your weapon to the next level. Polar weapons can be crafted/upgraded at an anvil in the Frozen Lake, next to the location of the Mist Trainer.
