Did you know that it is possible to change and choose the background color of your Instagram Stories among several possibilities to personalize them even more? You may not know it, but you can quickly modify this parameter to give your stories a different touch.
In an Instagram story you can upload photos, videos, put different stickers, text in different formats and other things. That is, it is fully customizable content and one of those options is the possibility of changing the background color, especially if you upload text.
When you upload an image to a new Instagram Stories, it is when you can modify the color and in this case it will help you to give it a different look, as we will now explain. These would be the steps you would have to follow:
- Open your Instagram profile and click on your image to create a new story. Take a photo with your mobile camera or choose one of the ones you have in the image gallery.
- When you upload it, a series of icons will appear at the top, enter the one with the shape of a curved line , just the second from the right.
- Click on the third icon from the left , choose the color you want to put the image in the background at the bottom and then press and hold the screen for 2 seconds so that the color appears, we will choose green in this case. It will also put the background color if you press the first and fourth.
- The screen turns all green, although the image can be seen a little, if you want it to be seen perfectly again you will only have to click on the last brush icon on the right (the eraser) to erase with your finger and leave the part transparent you want, the rest of the background will remain green.
For Android it is the same procedure, you only have to create a new story and do these steps:
- After creating the story, click on the curve-shaped icon at the top.
- Then press any brush in the upper part, although first choose the color and then press and hold the screen to put the background of the chosen color.
The image previously added or captured here will not be seen, only the text. To see it again, just click on the eraser and slide your finger across the screen to make the part you want transparent. Of course, you can then customize the Instagram Stories as you like, you can add text, stickers, GIFs and other content.
With “create”
There is another option on iOS and Android that allows you to change the background color of Instagram Stories, it is through the “create” option found in the options at the bottom when trying to create a new story.
When you press it, you get the possibility to change the color of the background through a small icon, although only some pre-established options are offered from which you will have to choose just one, and then you can add whatever you want to your new Instagram Stories.
