Discover the ultimate guide to Sunday in Honkai Star Rail, including her skills, builds, and how to maximize her potential in battles. Upgrade your gameplay now!
Sunday first appears in the game in the Penakonia storyline: he tries to build an “ideal world” in seven days, where everyone lives happily ever after. A world without Mondays, Tuesdays, and other workdays, only an endless weekend.
In this guide, we’re not talking about the day of the week, but about the character: we’ll figure out what to dress Sunday in, who to put him in a squad with, and how to unlock the potential of his game mechanics.
About the character
- Rank : SS
- Damage type : imaginary
- Path : Harmony
- Role : Support damage dealers with summoned creatures like Topaz and Jing Yuan
The trailer for Sunday is called “Why is it only Wednesday?” – a question that unites both the simple worker and the hero himself.
Resurrection’s gameplay is godlike. With his skill, the little bird moves the target ally forward on the action bar, forcing them and the summoned creature to move instantly. In addition, he can remove debuffs from allies, and with his ult, he fills energy and increases critical hits of the target hero.
The character has a low base speed, but for good reason. According to the idea, he should move later than the allies he will buff. However, the speed can be increased through artifacts.

Sunday Skills
As the classics used to say: “Sunday. It’s your birthday”, and all players on this and the following days have active resource farming and donations for the best support character. The table describes in detail all the abilities of the feathered boy.
Main
Upgrade priority: Skill → Super Ability → Talent → Basic Attack (as needed).
The table shows the boosts at maximum level without Eidolons.
Name | Type | Description |
A bright warning | Basic attack | Deals imaginary damage equal to 100% of attack power to the target enemy. |
Grieving Flesh | Talent | Using the skill increases the target’s critical chance by 20% for 3 turns. |
Blessing of paper and rituals | Skill | Using E on an ally, Resurrection moves them forward on the action bar, forcing them to move immediately. At the same time, it increases the damage of both the character and their summoned creature by 30%. If the ally has a summoned creature, it gains an additional 50% damage bonus for 2 turns.
When using the skill on a character with the Blessed status, Sunday restores one action point. Important note : Instant move will not work on Path of Harmony characters. |
An Ode to Feathers and Scars | Superpower | When targeting an ally, Resurrection restores 20% of his energy and grants the Blessed status to both him and his summoned minion. Blessed minions gain a Critical Damage bonus equal to 30% of Resurrection’s Critical Damage plus an additional 12%.
The Blessed status lasts for 3 turns and decreases by one at the start of each of Resurrection’s turns. The effect only affects one target of Resurrection’s Ultimate and does not affect Resurrection himself. If Sunday is eliminated from combat, the Blessed status is lost. |
Great riddles | Technique | When Resurrection uses her skill on an ally in the next battle for the first time after using the technique, that ally’s damage is increased by 50% for 2 turns. |
Traces
While everyone was resting on Sunday and getting ready for work, our feathered Sunday was working on himself.
Name | Elevation level | Description |
Longing for Sunday | 2 | If the superpower restores less than 40 units of energy, then the restored energy increases to 40 units. |
Majestic scope | 4 | Sunday restores 25 energy at the start of the battle. |
A haven of peace in the palm of your hand | 6 | Using the skill removes 1 debuff from the target. |
Eidolons
Sunday is the only character who can make everyone happy and sad at the same time. On the one hand, it’s good that he exists, but on the other, it would be better if there were more of him. If you invest in characters to the fullest, then this chick is the one whose Eidolons are all valuable.
Key Eidolons of Sunday greatly enhance it: E1 → E2 → E6
Level | Name | Description |
1 | The end of a thousand years of silence | Using the Resurrection skill allows the target character to ignore 16% of the enemy’s defense when dealing damage and summoned creatures to ignore 40% of the enemy’s defense when dealing damage for 2 turns. |
2 | Faith overcomes weakness | The first use of the super ability restores 2 skill points. The damage dealt by the Blessed One is increased by 30%. |
3 | The thorns of ascetic life | + 2 skill levels.
+ 1 level to base attack. |
4 | Preamble to sculpture | At the start of the turn, restores 8 units of energy. |
5 | Paper raft in silver bay | + 2 levels of ult.
+2 levels to talent. |
6 | Dawn of the Star Cacophony | Resurrection talent is enhanced – the critical chance increase effect can be stacked up to 3 times, and its duration is increased by 1 turn. Superpower now also increases the talent’s critical chance. If the target’s critical chance exceeds 100%, each extra percent is converted into 2% critical damage. |
Best build for Sunday
Light Cone (weapon)
Signature Cone will be the best option. Personal weapons always beat other options. There are almost no alternative worthy options when Sunday comes out.
If you are choosing between a signature cone and E1, take the cone .

Landed flight
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
After the owner uses a skill or super ability on an ally, he restores 6 units of energy and the target gains the Psalm status for 3 turns. This effect can be stacked up to 3 times. Each level of the Psalm status increases damage dealt by 15%. For every 2 uses of a skill or super ability on an ally, the unit restores 1 skill point. | Signature Cone of Resurrection. It makes it easier to regenerate energy for the ult, strengthen an ally. The weapon saves more action points than the Armor cone and other options.
The battle is not over
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
The owner’s energy recovery speed increases by 10%. When the owner uses a super ability on an ally, he will recover 1 skill point. This effect can only occur once for every two uses of the super ability. After the owner uses the skill, the damage of the ally who performs an action behind him will increase by 30% for 1 turn. | Armor’s signature weapon. It’s suitable as an alternative, but it’s not worth buying specifically for the unquenchable star shine from the in-game store.
Dance! Dance! Dance! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
After the owner uses the super ability, all allies’ actions are moved forward by 16%. | It won’t reveal the potential of Sunday, but it will do as a temporary ⭐⭐⭐⭐ alternative.
Cut out the moon and cut out the clouds ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
At the start of combat, as well as at the start of the owner’s turn, 1 random effect from the following is triggered: Attack power of all allies increases by 10%; Crit. damage of all allies increases by 12%; Energy recovery rate of all allies increases by 6%. This effect replaces the previous effect, and it cannot be the same as the previous effect. Effects of this type cannot stack, and they are removed when the owner becomes unable to fight. | A universal epic cone from the “Pass”, suitable as a temporary option.
Past and Future
⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
After the owner uses the skill, the damage of the ally performing the action behind him increases by 16% for 1 turn. | A viable free option that can be purchased with in-game currency from the Light Cone Passage shop. |
Relics (artifacts)
The power of the allies’ buff depends on the critical damage of the Resurrection, we recommend collecting about 220%. Speed will be difficult to collect, but in an ideal build the indicator of this trait should be about 133 units. Gain 124% energy recovery, the signature Light Cone will help with this best.
Statistics in artifacts:
Body | Legs | Sphere | Connecting ligature (“rope”) |
Critical Damage | Speed | Any sphere, choose by substats | Energy Recovery % |
In the lower stats look for: Critical Damage > Speed > Status Resistance.
Best build
For maximum effectiveness of Sunday, we recommend this set of artifacts.
Relics : “The Thorny Path of the Priest” (4).
Source: CQ.ru / Relic set “The thorny path of the priest”
A signature set, designed in the style of the hero’s clothing, is ideal for his role. Two parts of the set increase speed by 6%, and the full set increases the critical damage of an ally when using a skill or ult.
Planar decorations : “Mermaid, sunken shores”.
The set increases the speed of energy recovery.
Important: when using these decorations, Sunday should NOT be the first in the squad. The first position should be given to the damage dealer you plan to strengthen – then the “Mermaid” will provide him with an additional 12% attack.
If you don’t want to depend on a strict hero order in your team, use Broken Keel, a universal choice for supports.
Temporary option
Relics :
- 2 parts of “The Messenger wandering in the hacker space”;
- 2 parts of “The Thorny Path of the Priest.”
This set will help compensate for Resurrection’s low base speed, adding a total of 12% to this stat. Although the hero is initially designed to be slow to follow buffed allies, the extra speed won’t hurt.
Remember: this is a temporary solution that should only be used if the artifacts have good crits in additional stats.
In planar jewelry, Broken Keel is a universal choice for support characters. Increases the owner’s effect resistance by 10% and critical damage of all allies by 10% if the Resurrection effect resistance is equal to or greater than 30%.
Best Squads for Sunday
Summoners
At the time of Resurrection’s release, few damage dealers are able to utilize his full potential. He is best paired with Jing Yuan and Topaz, characters whose summons are added to the action bar in battle. It is with these heroes that Resurrection shows its maximum effectiveness.
Jing Yuan | Sunday | Robin | Aventurine |
Topaz | Sunday | Silver Wolf | Aventurine |
Instead of Aventurine you can use Lochu, Bailu, Natasha, Cheetah or Feixiao.
Hypercarry
Sunday is also effective in hypercarry squads – teams built around one powerful damage dealer who is strengthened by the rest of the team. In such compositions, he can replace Sparkle or Armor. He even works in tandem with Moon Eater.
Acheron | Sunday | Jiaoqiu | Aventurine |
Boothill | Sunday | Ruan Mei | Aventurine |
Moon Eater | Sunday | Tingyun | Aventurine |
Sunday is a unique character with great potential. In the future, Honkai: Star Rail will have a new path focused on heroes who summon “pets” to the battlefield, like Topaz and Jingyuan. At the time of its release, the chick is fully revealed with only two damage dealers, but in the future, more characters for such packs will appear.
