Hoho is a representative of the fox people who is an intern at the Ten Lords Commission of Lofu Xianzhou. She is very timid, afraid of ghosts and everything supernatural. But due to her job, she has to deal with evil spirits and even drive them out. It all started when one of the judges sealed a heliobi inside her. Because of this, she is now called “cursed”.
As a child, Hoho encountered a spirit, which she took pity on and put on her tail. The demon almost devoured the girl, so Judge Hanye had to seal it in her tail – the girl was too young to perform the exorcism ritual. The Ten Lords Commission of Lofu Xianzhou took on the task of protecting the “cursed one” so that the “tail” would not cause trouble. Meanwhile, the fox girl tries to master her new duties as a guide of souls and overcome her fear.
At first, the spirit sealed in Hoho’s tail was no different from other heliobi and tried to take over her personality. However, over time, he discovered that he enjoyed watching her get upset over her failures and made mean jokes: “I’ll always have time to devour her. She won’t go anywhere from me.”
At the same time, he never refuses to help Hoho when he sees that she needs it, although he will never admit that he is her friend.
