Learn how to easily view your WiFi password on iPhone 13 with our step-by-step guide. Say goodbye to forgetting passwords!
A friend came to visit you and asked you to share your home Internet right from the doorway. But who keeps the Wi-Fi password in their head? And it’s not necessary. You can find it out in a couple of clicks if you have an Apple device at hand that is currently or previously connected to the network. It saves information about the networks it connects to. We share simple algorithms on how to find a saved password for a local network using an iPhone or MacBook.
How to View WiFi Password on iPhone 13
- Access the Settings: Open the Settings app on your iPhone 13 and tap on “WiFi”.
- Connect to the WiFi Network: Make sure your iPhone 13 is connected to the WiFi network whose password you want to view.
- Tap on the Network Name: Locate the name of the WiFi network to which your iPhone 13 is connected and tap on it.
- View the WiFi Password: Once you tap on the network name, a new window will open. Look for the “Password” field, and your WiFi password will be displayed.
- Note Down the Password: You can either write down the password or take a screenshot for future reference.
All passwords for Wi-Fi networks that your device has ever connected to are stored in the Wi-Fi section of the Settings app in iOS or iPadOS.
If you fail to exchange the Wi-Fi password the first time, reboot both devices and try again. Or transfer the network password using your iPhone (using the method we described above) and tell your friend. He will be able to enter and connect to the network manually.
Now you can quickly find saved passwords for wireless networks on your Mac and iPhone. And at any time you can help your friends, family, and colleagues connect.
