Welcome, lovers of hot guys with sweet voices. Last time we took a quick look at Love and Deepspace and learned how the gacha system is implemented there. Now we will look at the local artifact system and their leveling.

In a nutshell, you get Memory cards that you then use in battles. They can be 3☆, 4☆ and 5☆. As you progress through the story, the tasks will become more difficult, and the minimum recommended level for completing them will increase. To win and advance through the story or farm resources, you need to be able to upgrade Memory cards.

In this guide we will look at the types of protocores, how to select and upgrade them.

Useful tips

It’s worth noting from the start that three-star cards shouldn’t be upgraded in battle, as you’ll waste resources. Since they drop more often than others, we only use them to “stack” with each other.

To get extra energy for resource farming, we recommend picking it up from Silus in the Supply section of the Agenda for logging in at certain hours. So you will get 30 extra points if you log in from 11:00 to 15:00 Moscow time and 60 points for a visit from 17:00 to 21:00 Moscow time.

Love and Deepspace is not like Genshin Impact in terms of the banner history system. Each banner is a separate event with its own story. Those who like to “twist-twist-twist” will have a hard time, because if the event banner is not your favorite, you will have to endure it.

Protocores

In simple terms, these are local artifacts. They make your Remembrance stronger. It’s better to just put Protocores on a card than to send it into battle without Protocores. So if you’re going to use a card in battle, put Protocores on it from the very beginning.

Classification of protocores

According to types, protocores are divided into:

  • Alpha;
  • Beta;
  • Gamma;
  • Delta.

The first two can only be attached to solar cards, and the second to lunar ones. This makes farming protocores quite sad, because two solar cards and four lunar ones participate in the battle, and the drop rate is the same for all types of protocores. And when solar cards are already pumped up with protocores, you still continue to enter the arena and spend 20 stamina points per round. After all, you still need to “dress” the lunar ones.

Just like cards, they are divided according to their rarity.

  • Blue – normal (R);
  • Purple – rare (SR);
  • Gold – Legendary (SSR).

Protocore farm

Protocores are mined in the Battle tab and the Core Hunt subsection. Arenas for farming Protocores with different Stellactrums open on different days:

  • Monday/Thursday/Sunday – Emerald and Ruby.
  • Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday – Purple and Amber.
  • Tuesday/Friday/Sunday – Sapphire and Pearl.

The weakest ones are pumped up to level 10, rare ones up to 12 and legendary ones up to 15. Keep this in mind if you want to get an achievement for pumping a protocore above level 10.

Selecting protocols

Like artifacts in Genshin, protocores have a main stat and secondary ones. The base stat is selected based on the talent of a specific card. It requires a certain indicator for a specific stat.

Additional stats can also be selected based on talent requirements to make the card more effective. For example, “Upon reaching 200 Attack points, for every 20 additional indicators, an additional Attack bonus is given.” To view the stats of a specific protocore, tap it once in the menu.

Raising the level of the protocore will pump the main stat and randomly improve one of the side ones. Try to pick protocores that will improve the stat required for the talent.

Level up

Cards, like characters in any other game, need constant leveling. As the story progresses and the content becomes more difficult, the game will recommend that you first level up your cards before entering battle. Plus, higher level cards can help you farm more valuable resources.

Farming takes place in the Bounty Hunt section. It can be found in the Battle section on the main screen at the bottom. Here, two enemies will be useful to us – Heartbreaker for farming Bottles of Wishes (needed to level up). There are three types of such bottles, each giving 10, 50 and 250 experience points respectively. We farm resources from this enemy and gradually pump up levels.

To ascend, you will need crystals that correspond to the crystal of a specific Memory. The need for ascending appears every 10 levels.

  • Sapphire and Ruby can be obtained from Pumpkin Magnus;
  • Amber and Emerald can be obtained from Lemonetti;
  • Pearl and Purple – from Snoozer.

Rank increase

If you get multiple identical Memory cards, you can combine them and boost their stats. You can stack cards up to three times. All cards you get after the maximum stack are converted into the in-game currency Heartsand.

You can fold cards up to three times. After the third time, the card begins to glow with a dull gasoline light, which means it has reached its maximum rank.

These were the main tips for successfully upgrading your cards in Love and Deepspace. We wish you to assemble a dream team that will cut all the Wanderers.
