Twitter has two types of feed, timeline or wall, and one of them is the chronological order and the other is the one that first shows the most prominent tweets called Home, such as the tweets that our followers have liked and similar things.
What the chronological order of Twitter does is show the tweets as they are being published, that is, we see the most recent ones.
How to schedule tweets on official Twitter
Making the change is really simple and fast and just follow the steps shown below:
- We open Twitter and click on the icon with stars that we mark in the lower screenshot.
- Then we click on the first option that appears “Switch to the view of most recent tweets” .
- It will be now when a blue dialog box appears at the bottom of our screen where they indicate that we have changed the chronological order and that from now on we will see the most recent tweets first.
The process itself is not very complicated, as we have seen. When we want to return to the other order , that is, the one that shows the featured tweets first, we must do the same route, but selecting the option called “Start”.
We can return to one and the other as many times as we want, but for it to take effect, sometimes it will be necessary to restart the phone, clear the Twitter cache , close all the apps that we have in the background including Twitter, etc.
In fact, if we don’t do some of those things, it is likely that the change in order from “Start” to chronological will take a while to take effect. The best option is to clear the cache if we see that the chronological order has not been established correctly:
- You have to go to the phone settings and then go to “Applications” .
- We use the search bar and type “Twitter” .
- Click on it, and then on “Storage” .
- We click on “Clear cache” and surely now the chronological order of Twitter appears and works perfectly.
Clear cache is usually one of the simple options that solves almost all the bugs of all the apps, such as Instagram, Twitter, the bank’s app, Spotify, etc.
