Guide to Viscous in Deadlock

The Bermuda Triangle is not just a story. Deep, almost at the very bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, there was a mysterious artifact from which many creatures broke free . Most of them were quite harmless, like the Loch Ness Monster. But now something monstrous has taken over the ocean, and it scares the living creatures of the deep to death.

This arrangement does not suit one of the inhabitants of the ocean. Having grown a liquid-like spacesuit on himself in order to survive on land, Viscous desperately tries to find powerful allies to help him protect the Depths from the bloodthirsty predator lurking within.

Below are the starting passive stats for the Viscosity character .

Damage per second 55
Damage per hit 11
Cartridges 20
Shots per second 5
Normal hit 63
Swipe 116
Health 550
Regeneration per second 2
Bullet resistance 0%
Magic Resistance 0%
Speed 7.3
Endurance 3

Like all other characters in the game, Viscous has three main skills and one special skill. CyberMeta will now go into detail about each of them.

  • Splatter – You throw a liquefied ball at your enemies, which deals damage and also leaves greasy puddles on the ground. The puddles slow down enemies that fall into them or are nearby.
  • The Cube – Throws a liquefied cube at the selected player, which protects against damage and increases regeneration. While the target is in the cube, it cannot perform any actions. You can hide in the cube yourself. You can jump out of the cube prematurely if you press the spacebar.
  • Puddle Punch – Materializes a fist of liquid on the battlefield, which deals damage to enemies. Each successful attack reduces the distance of the enemy’s dash, and also slows them down. The attack is classified as melee.
  • Goo Ball – You, like a snowball, gain mass and turn into a huge ball of goo, which deals damage and also stuns everyone it comes into contact with. The ultimate also significantly increases resistance to damage and magic, gives the ability to bounce off walls and do a double jump.

Viscous is far from the easiest hero in the game. His skills require an excellent understanding of not only the character himself, but also the situation in the match . But if you master it, you will become a real problem for your opponents. At first, the emphasis in our build will be on melee damage, after which we will begin to buff skills evenly.

  • Splatter
  • Puddle Punch
  • The Cube
  • Goo Ball

After unlocking all skills, first of all try to raise the first one to the maximum. Then the second one, then the ult, and then the third skill.

As always, start the build with Extra Charge , this will give you the ability to throw the liquefied ball twice. Later, the item will serve as a component for Rapid Recharge.

Next, we will need Melee Lifesteal, Spirit Strike and High Velocity Mag. In this order . We remind you that the third skill is considered a melee attack. Melee Lifesteal will increase damage and add health. And also, as the name suggests, it will heal you with successful attacks. All of the above will significantly increase your survivability.

Once you’ve got the T1 items down, start taking the items in the middle of the screenshot in the order that works best for you. Try to start with Lifestrike, then the items you already have components for, and then take everything else .

Towards the end of the game, as originally planned, we focus on abilities. After all, if you don’t do this, the skirmishes will become very long, but in the end, you will be the one losing them. Take everything that is shown in the bottom two rows in the screenshot . Almost all items will be a little cheaper than usual, because we collected components for them throughout the game.

In the early stages, try not to waste time exchanging damage with opponents, focus on farming souls. As soon as you open the first skill – throw it at enemies, but do not chase kills. Just get on the opponent’s nerves and collect souls.

Before you rush into enemies, make sure your second ability is not on cooldown . If something goes wrong, you can cast a cube on yourself and move away.

Viscosity’s ult is most effective in tight spaces. If you bounce off walls that enemies are unlucky enough to be between, they won’t be able to do much, since they will be stunned for the duration of the ult.

If you’re playing against Viscosity, it’s best to just not mess with him. The only window when you can quickly deal with him is at the very beginning of the match . Then, almost until the end of the game, it’s very inconvenient to fight him…

Also take a closer look at the Extra Stamina and Sprint Boots items . These items increase your stamina and movement speed, which will allow you to escape slows more effectively.
