Genshin Impact Hero Description

Yae Miko is a real fox. And it’s not just that she’s a kitsune. She’s cunning, seemingly carefree, but quite strict with her subordinates. Yae manages to combine two jobs at once: she’s not only the Guji of Narukami Shrine, but also the editor-in-chief of the Yae Publishing House, which publishes novels and prints newspapers.

It won’t be that easy to figure out the girl’s personality. The thing is that she always hides her true intentions in public and can skillfully manipulate others.

How to get Yae Miko

Our High Priestess is a limited legend in Genshin Impact, so you can’t just take her into your squad. You need to wait for the banner rerun.

The character event prayer “Eternal Purple Blossom” was last seen in version 4.4, so it’s just a matter of waiting until the banner can be twirled again.

Strengths and weaknesses

Pros Cons
·         Belongs to the catalysts, so all attacks have Electro Infusion, which cannot be interrupted. Because of this, it can consistently cause different reactions.

·         Has a lot of attack power from the start and quickly accelerates this indicator, causing a lot of damage.

·         It works well in packs with Dendro, especially when played through Exacerbation, Overgrowth and Vegetation.

·         Can take the position of a support DD or the main damage dealer, depending on his own build and pack.

·         Can enhance his own ult with totems from the skill.

·         Totems can exist even if Yae is “in the pocket” and continue to attack enemies.

·         Quite an expensive ult, for a stable set of which you need another Electro character in the pack.

·         Quite long animations of normal attacks can hinder combat and reduce DPS potential.

·         Totems need to be placed carefully to maximize damage.

·         Has low resistance to interruption, so you need to be able to position the character correctly, or add a shielder to the squad.

·         In the damage dealer position, he is most revealing only with Dendro reactions.

What weapon to install

The Truth of Kagura

This is Yae Miko’s signature catalyst, which can only be obtained during a rerun in the weapon banner. At level 90, we get 66.2% critical damage and 608 attack power.

The passive works like this: after using an E-type, its damage is increased by 12-24% for 16 seconds. This bonus can stack 3 times and at max level gives the wearer 12-24% of the elemental bonus.

Sky Atlas

Another good option. You can get it in a standard banner, or from a weapon if you suddenly lost on the desired weapon. Sometimes the Celestial Atlas also acts as a banner leg. At level 90, we get 674 in the main stat and another 33.1% of this indicator in the additional one.

The passive provides a 12-24% bonus to elemental damage. Also, once every 30 seconds, with a 50% chance, clouds are summoned that hit nearby enemies, dealing damage equal to 160-320% of the character’s attack power.

Song of the Wanderer

This is a very strong catalyst on its own, but it all depends on the randomness and note that you get when using it. At maximum pumping gives 510 attack power and 55.1% critical damage.

The passive determines the “popular” name of the catalyst – Kazinych. The thing is that when you change the character to the carrier, one of three musical themes is activated for 10 seconds. Recitative gives 60-120% attack power, Aria increases elemental damage by 48-96%, and Interlude gives 240-480 elemental mastery. All three effects are useful on Yae, so you can safely put this weapon on her.

Best Artifact Sets

Golden Troupe

This is a Fontaine set, but it works great on Yae Miko too. It’s all about her mechanic that allows other characters to enter the field after placing totems.

Two parts increase E-class damage by 20%. Four parts give another 25%. In addition, when the carrier is “in the pocket”, the skill’s damage is increased by another 25%.

Gilded Dreams

This set is perfect for teams where you will have 1-2 more Electro characters and Dendro heroes.

Two pieces give 80 Elemental Mastery, which is useful for Yae Miko. Four pieces, after activating any reaction once every 8 seconds, give 14% attack power for each character of the same element as the wearer, and 50 Elemental Mastery for other elements. The effect works even if Yae is not on the battlefield.

A thunderous roar of rage

A universal set for any Electro character. The whole point is that it increases damage from the element and reactions.

Two parts give 15% Electro bonus to the wearer. And 4 parts increase the reactions Overload, Charged, Superconductor and Vegetation by 40%, buff Exacerbation by 20%. At the same time, activating any reaction reduces the E-kick cooldown by 1 second every 0.8 seconds.

Roar + Troupe

The Golden Troupe and Thunderous Roar of Fury combo also works well, giving us a bonus to Electro damage and an E boost, which is great for any Yae Miko build.

Squad options

The first team option puts the high priestess in the support DD position. In such a pack, Yae will act as an Electro status applicator for another hero.

The squad includes:

  • Al-Haitham/Tignari;
  • Yae Miko;
  • Nahida;
  • Fischl/Zhong Li.

The second option is hypercarry Yae Miko. Everything is simple here: we need two supports and a shield healer who will allow the fox to be on the battlefield and hit with her hand.

This pack contains:

  • Yae Miko;
  • Nahida;
  • Fischl/Kazuha;
  • Bai Zhu.

Another version of the command works from Overload. True, in this case, enemies will fly around the battlefield, but with the correct placement of totems, everything will be fine.

The squad includes:

  • Yae Miko;
  • Fischl/Xiang Ling;
  • Chevreuse;

Well, the last command that can work well is centered around the Charged reaction. In this case, we get chain damage to several enemies.

The team includes:

  • Tartaglia;
  • Yae Miko;
  • Kazuha;
  • Kokomi/Kuki.
