If you find the recently released XCOM: Chimera Squad too difficult, or simply want to unlock all possible weapons as soon as possible, then there is a way to cheat the game. Roughly speaking, console commands have never been considered full-fledged cheats, but they certainly make the game easier. With the help of console commands in the new XCOM, you can get various resources and equipment.
How to unlock console
First, you need to unlock the console itself. To do this, you will have to add a command line parameter to the XCOM: Chimera Squad shortcut. Right-click the shortcut on the desktop, select properties, copy and paste the -allowconsole command into the “Target” line . Save. It should look like this:
- C:\Games\XCOM: Chimera\Binaries\Win64\XCom.exe” -allowconsole
If you do not have a shortcut with this parameter, then use Steam, find the game in the library, right-click and send the shortcut to the desktop. Repeat the steps. In this case, the shortcut path will point to the following path:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM-Chimera-Squad\Binaries\Win64\xcom.exe” -allowconsole
You can now activate the Developer Console.
